Morientez is a Nigeria Born artiste, who started his musical journey by singing in a church choir at age 7. A graduate of chemistry from the University of Benin, he has performed in churches, clubs, competitions and several events. 

He has participated in and won several music talent competitions in Nigeria, among them the The MTN/Soundcity Campus blast 2007, he was a runner-up at the Star Quest music talent hunt 2008, he was a semi finalist at the Naija sings 2010 competition, and winner Mr Glo Rock and Rule 2011(South South region).

Bi-Courtnery boss Wale Babalakin arrested for laundering N2billion

The Chief Executive Officer of Bi-Courtney Ltd, Wale Babalakin, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). He was alleged to have helped in facilitating the siphoning about N2 billion belonging to Delta State on behalf of former Governor James Ibori. 

This is coming a few days after a concessionary agreement between Bi- Courtney and federal government on the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway was terminated by government. EFCC sources in Abuja confirmed that the charges were filed against Babalakin today at a Lagos High Court in Ikeja (Daily Times)

Monalisa Chinda's ex-husband's second marriage crashes

According to sources in the know, the second (or third) marriage of Segun Dejo Richards has crashed. Monalisa Chinda's ex husband remarried in January 2011 less than two years after his marriage to the actress ended due to accusations of infidelity and domestic abuse. Dejo married Louisiana - US based Lamide Richards less than a year after he met her while she was on vacation in Nigeria. Less than two years later, Lamide's friends say she's separated from Dejo and is planning to officially divorce him soon.

This would be Dejo's 3rd failed marriage as it was reported a few years back that he was married for six months before getting married to the Monalisa Chinda.

Eku: Having a twin made school very easy. We were a team, no one bullied us. We had lots of friends and we only ever needed each other.

Kessy: It's alway been welcome company. I had Georgina, (Eku) and wherever she is, I'm home really. I find it hard now with her being so far away. She understands like no other. 

Eku: I used to get irritated when people didn't make an effort to differentiate us. I thought it was lazy as were were not identical; we do have clear differences. I don't mind anymore as I enjoy when people get confused.

Jackie Chan’s Son Will Get None of His $130M Fortune

International Chinese movie star Jackie Chan has been a success for decades, leading to a fortune estimated at $130 million. And his son, Jaycee, will see none of it.
Jackie Chan, who will next be seen in Chinese Zodiac, recently announced that he will donate all of his wealth to charity and none to his only child. Chan made the announcement when questioned in Beijing.
Jackie Chan originally intended to split his estate down the middle — half to his family and half to charity. Now Jaycee, who grew up with his father’s wealth, is on the outside looking in, with the older Chan saying his son should be capable of earning his own money.
The younger Chan has attempted to launch singing and acting careers. He has appeared in more than 20 movies, most of them flops. His 2012 effort, Double Trouble, is regarded as one of the biggest movie busts in history, earning less than $10,000.

Hostel at College of Medicine Idi-Araba gutted by fire this morning

 One of the hostels at Medical School LUTH, block 6, was gutted by fire around 9am this morning. No lives were lost but properties and other valuables were destroyed in the inferno that lasted for over an hour before it was put out by the fire service. Cause of the fire is still unknown.

Producer of IJE set to record another milestone with DVD sales

For Chineze Anyaene (pictured above left), the director and producer of the highest grossing Nollywood movie of all time at the cinema, IJE, it is time to record another milestone as the movie hits the DVD market from Monday, December 3, 2012.

IJE showed for several weeks at the cinema in year 2010 and made well over N70m on that platform and was only beaten by the Hollywood flick, Avengers (in 2012), it was not surprising when the much talked about movie out- sold highly rated Hollywood flicks, Avatar, Salt, Spiderman and others.

6men shot dead & dragged through the streets of Gaza for being spies

Six men accused of being 'Israeli spies' were dragged through the streets of Gaza City and executed in front of a chanting mob today as Israel warned Palestinians to evacuate some areas of the territory in apparent preparation for a ground invasion. Witnesses said the six were taken to an intersection in the north of the city where they were summarily shot for providing intelligence that helped Israel pinpoint key figures in Hamas and the Islamic Jihad targeted by their warplanes. Private jets: CAN slams Kukah, Bakare over comments

Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has condemned comments credited to the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Most Rev. Matthew Hassan Kukah and Pastor Tunde Bakare, who claimed that acquisition of private jets by religious leaders diminishes moral voices of the church in the war against corruption and are therefore calling for a revolution in the Church of God.

President Jonathan's younger brother dies on his birthday

The younger half brother of president Goodluck Jonathan has died. Meni Jonathan  (pictured above) died today November 20th (the president's birthday) at the State House clinic in Abuja.

Meni, who was said to be in his late 40s, was flown in from Bayelsa last week to receive treatment at the Aso Rock Clinic for an undisclosed ailment he had been battling with for a few months now.

Mena, until his death was the chairman traditional council of chiefs  in Otuoke community of Bayelsa State. The president is yet to officially react to his brother's death. May his soul rest in peace...amen.

There was some turbulence of a different kind onboard Rihanna’s 777 tour. Somewhere between Berlin and London Monday morning, an Australian shock jock streaked through the cabin of the Boeing 777 that had been ferrying the “Diamonds” singer, contest winners and journalists on a chaotic seven-day, seven-country promotional tour. The media members among the hundreds of passengers had already been fuming over their complete lack of access to the singer during the tour. Around 3:30 a.m., the crowd started chanting, "Save Our Jobs, Save Our Jobs," according to E! News. That’s when the streaker - an Australian radio show personality who had angered his peers earlier by playing the harmonica - ran down the aisle completely naked. A Fuse camera man was able to capture the moment for posterity.Crazy things we do to get attention!
