PSquare - "We don't own a private jet yet, but hope to buy one in the future'

When asked by Vanguard if the rumour that they bought a private jet was true, P-Square replied:

"There was nothing like that. I guess because it was included in our list that whenever we are going for a specific show,  the organsiers must provide us with a private jet. We had a deal with a private jet company which always hire their private jet to us whenever we are in need of it. It’s like, we have a private jet at our disposal. I remember, I once tweeted that a private jet has been included in our list.  That was how people started speculating that Psquare has bought a private jet. But we always  travel with the jet all the time.

Do they plan to buy a private jet someday?

To be honest with you, the way things are going, we are planning to buy one. And it’s not because of the cost implication of hiring a private jet, but the fact that we want to meet up with our concerts.

Saudi Prince jailed in Britain for killing his servant flown home to serve the rest of his sentence

The grandson of Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah, Prince Saud Bin Abdulaziz, (pictured left) who was jailed for life in the UK in 2010 for killing his servant was on Monday March 18th flown back to Saudi Arabia to serve the rest of his sentence. But why would the British government do that? They really expect the grandson of the King of Saudi to be locked up forever in Saudi? I hear!

Homosexual Prince Saud murdered his servant, Bandar Abdullah Abdulaziz in a London hotel on 15 February 2010 after the pair returned from a Valentine's Day night out. He subjected the servant to a 'sadistic' campaign of violence and sexual abuse before beating and strangling him to death. Continue

Tonto Dikeh a few days back poured her heart out on Twitter, sharing a recent heartbreak she suffered (See it HERE). I finally found out the guy who broke the star's heart. His name is Caporahvenwah Okolie, popularly known as Chief Capo (pictured above with Tonto).

Chief Capo is an international model, rapper, singer and the CEO of G-Muzik Entertainment. He shuttles between his home in Atlanta and the one here in Nigeria.

2 arrested as 100 soldiers stormed terror suspects’ hideouts in Lagos

Two suspected Boko Haram members were arrested at a house in Ijora, Lagos yesterday by soldiers acting on a tip off.  The soldiers found AK-47 rifles, bomb, cartridges, daggers etc hidden in the apartment. Below is how Punch is reporting it:

Fear gripped many residents of Lagos  on Thursday when news filtered in that troops numbering about 100 stormed terror suspects’ hideouts in Ijora, a densely populated part of the city.

The soldiers, who were assisted by men of the State Security Service, were  believed to have acted on a tip-off. They were said to have arrived in the area around 7am in search of the suspects said to be  members of an Islamic fundamentalist sect, Boko Haram.

Professor Chinua Achebe dies at 82

Novelist, poet, professor, critic and the author of the most widely read book in African literature (Things Fall Apart) professor Chinua Achebe, has passed on. Achebe died last night in a hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He had been ill for a while. He was 82 years old.
