Kalu Ikeagwu is undoubtedly one of Nollywood's sexiest bachelors and actors. He opened up to Daily Sun on why he is not yet married..

"Do I want to get married? Yes. But that would be when I find the right person; I mean that person I love so much and want to spend the rest of my life with; that’s when I’ll settle down.
 The reason why I am not married now is that marriage is very important to me. I have come to terms with the fact that marriage is the most important institution from God. And I take that very seriously. Ultimately I would like my relationship with my wife to be like that between God and the church; that’s why it is important to me.

I wouldn’t say it’s been challenging though. I have gone through a lot of experiences that made me wise. When I get married, my experiences would make me a wise, good and a loving father.I like a woman with a great sense of humor; that’s very important to me. And of course, she has to be very attractive and intelligent. Above everything else she should have a close relationship with God because that’s very important to me as well. That’s exactly why I am yet to get married. I want to be successful in my marriage just as I am in my career."

Wendy Williams blasts Tameka for posting shirtless photo of Usher

Tameka paid her ex a compliment and Wendy read too much meaning into it. So here's what happened. "Here’s the thing Tameka. Which way is it gonna be? Are we hiring a lawyer and going after him to fight for our kids? Or do we wanna jump back in bed with him? See that’s why they said you need an evaluation. I’m just saying. You don’t play. Mothers know. Women know. You don’t play when it comes to your kids. You’re not going to talk about him looking scrump. What you need to be doing is you need to be hunting down a team of lawyers, at least two, and a private eye. Tameka, just focus on what’s important.”

Nike Oshinowo's estranged hubby says twins story not true

Nike has a set of twins which she welcomed via a surrogate mum many weeks back...but a clueless Dr Tunde Soleye says the story is not true.

He told Encomium magazine...

"I don't believe it is true. The story is false. They are just trying to sell their papers, I guess. Nike might have a challenge but this is the last thing she can do. She doesn't have any twins through surrogacy". Dr Soleye maintained that the story is the figment of the imaginations of desperate tale bearers.

Governnor Fashola comes to the aid of ailing Pa Kasumu

Great news for ailing veteran actor, Kayode Odumosu popularly known as Pa Kasumu, who has been battling with serious liver and heart related ailments for a while now and in desperate need of N12m. According to a report by Encomium magazine, Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola, has taken up his treatment after watching Pa Kasumu's interview on Channels TV last Friday October 11th.

A source told the magazine;

"It was after the governor saw Pa Kasumu on Channels TV on Friday evening that he texted that his case should be taken up immediate"

When asked the exact amount the governor was planning to donate to Pa Kasumu, the source said;

"It is not a specific amount at the moment. He will first be examined by medical experts who will do a proper evaluation of his health status and make recommendations as to the exact treatment he will receive. The fact at the moment is that everything he needs will be catered for by the state government"

Plane crash averted today as IRS aircraft makes emergency landing

Another plane crash was averted this afternoon when an IRS Aircraft made an emergency landing in Kaduna. A Fokker 28 plane, carrying 89 passengers from Lagos to Kaduna, developed hydraulic problems few minutes before landing at the Kaduna airport.

The aircraft's front tyres refused to come out during landing, forcing the pilot to land without them. Fortunately no one was injured.

The Managing Director of IRS, Yemi Dada, later explained what happened to reporters. He said:

"The pilots received a low hydraulic warning minutes before landing, and this affected the landing gear, nose wheel steering, brakes, cargo doors, thrust reverser and the flight controls."

“On final approach to Kaduna today on our flight 3390 with 89 passengers, our cockpit crew got a low hydraulic in system 1 warning and decided to take precautionary measures to ask for ground confirmation that all gears were down and locked."

“The crew proceeded to land but followed procedure to disembark on the runway and not taxi in accordance with the procedure.”

He said all passengers disembarked with the assistance of a crane before the aircraft was towed to ramp. He also said the airline's maintenance crew is checking the aircraft to see what happened.

A woman approached actress Yvonne Jegede on her way to get groceries in Ajao Estate recently, saying how she is a big fan of her movies. The woman later cried and pleaded for assistance, she said she and her children had been living in a church, and barely had food to eat. Yvonne followed her to where her children were and after seeing their condition decided to help her. Dame Patience Jonathan honoured with doctorate degree in South Korea

Patience Jonathan on Thursday October 10th bagged her fourth Honorary Doctorate degree since becoming Nigeria's First Lady. She got her latest honorary degree from the Hansei University in South Korean (pictured above with the president and Chancellor of the university, Sung-Hae Kim)

The university said they honoured Mrs Jonathan because she had worked 'hard for many good causes'.

“She’s a humanitarian who has dedicated her life to working for the less privileged in Nigeria and Africa especially for women and children. It affected me in a very spiritual way. In as much as I know worldly things, I still fear God and have faith in Him.  The reason why I wanted to become a nun was because I was raised in a Catholic home.  I just felt it was the best thing for me to do at that time. I used to see myself as a messenger of God.  Even though I did not become a nun, I still remain faithful to God. Part of my dreams is to establish a church and do a lot of charity work"

Samuel Eto'o spends £4million on four exotic cars

 

Three time African Footballer of the Year Samuel Eto'o a few weeks back spent 4million pounds on four exotic cars. He bought a £1.55m Bugatti Veyron which was specially delivered to the Chelsea striker's London club's training ground, The Sun reports.

He also bought an Aston Martin One-77 worth £1.25m, a luxury Maybach Xenatec worth £750,000 and an Aston Martin V12 Zagato worth £450,000.
