I won’t resign as Minister of state for Petroleum Resources - Ibe Kachikwu

Minister of state for Petroleum Resources and Group Managing Director of NNPC, Ibe Kachikwu, says all those planning to storm Abuja to stage a protest calling for his resignation should save their fuel as he will not be resigning. He said he still has a lot of work to do. Kachikwu said this while speaking at the senate committee on Petroleum Resources ( downstream) yesterday March 29th.

"All those planning to come to Abuja for a protest should save their fuel. I am not going to resign. I have a lot of work to do."he said

Kim Kardashian and her sisters Kylie, Kendall, Kourtney and Khloe are changing the face of modern day advertising with the way they rake in huge sums from social media advertising according to new reports by Page Six.

Previously, companies do adverts on Television, radio and magazines but have now turned to social media and the Kardashian clan are making more money from this than any other celebrity.

Donald Trump's daughter, Ivanka Trump is back at home two days after giving birth to her third child. Seven days after the Senate passed the 2016 budget, President Buhari is yet to sign it into law as the senate has reportedly failed to send details of the budget to the presidency.

According to Premium Times, the National Assembly members sent only the highlights of the budget to the presidency and kept the details in their custody.

Ayo Makun took to his Instagram wall to send a sweet message to his wife, Mabel, who is a year older today March 30th. He wrote;

Jonathan's son in-law, Godswill Edward, pays congratulatory visit to new PDP chair, Alimodu Sheriff

Former President Jonathan's son in-law, Godswill Edward, who is now the Special Adviser on Youth Affairs to Cross Rivers state governor, ‎Ben Ayade, last week paid a congratulatory visit to the recently appointed PDP chairman, Alimodu Sheriff. Godswill is married to Jonathan's daughter, Faith.

Gideon Yobo, the younger brother of footballer Joseph Yobo and his wife, Blessing, have welcomed their first child, a boy whom they have christened Caleb G.I.D Williamson Yobo. The couple got married on June 27th last year in Liverpool, England.

Before getting pregnant, 23 year old Blessing had been diagnosed with lupus, an incurable illness affecting the immune system. She was advised not to get pregnant. And when she got pregnant, doctors in the UK where she resides with her husband, told her that her pregnancy will not go beyond 14 weeks...

Terrorist group ISIS has reportedly trained 500 terrorists and sent them into Europe disguising as refugees to cause maximum damage and terror on the European continent, according to reports from the Associated Press.

The world is still getting to grips with the shock from the Paris terror attack and most recently the Belgium airport attack. Attacks which ISIS have claimed responsibility for, but with this new tactic employed by the group, Europe is in for more shock and grief if the reports are true.

In Georgia, a House Bill 757, was passed last week by the state legislature which states that no pastor can be forced to perform a same-sex wedding, that a faith-based group could not be forced to hire or retain an employee whose beliefs contradict those of the organization, and that religious schools would be able to reject holding events for people or groups to whom they object.
The bill is now on the desk of the Governor of Georgia waiting for his signature to make it official.

Tinubu takes on Kachikwu over his recent statement on fuel scarcity, asks him to apologise

APC National leader, Bola Tinubu, says the comments made by Minister of State for Petroleum Resources and Group MD of NNPC, Ibe Kachikwu, about the current fuel scarcity, was insulting and unacceptable and worsened the situation nationwide. Kachikwu had told state house correspondents on Wednesday March 23rd, that he was not a magician and that the fuel scarcity will be resolved sometime in May.
