It has been revealed that board members of Nigeria's Sovereign Wealth Authority (SWA) are paid N250,000 per sitting. More interestingly, the board members sit four times in some days, totaling N1m sitting allowance per member. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, today Oct 31st, arraigned former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu, before a Federal High court in Lagos over money laundering charges. Kalu who was governor of the state between 1999 and 2007, had approached the Court in Abuja to stop the EFCC from prosecuting him in Lagos, but his request was denied.

Comedian Ominiaho arrests Grace Ogbuji for alleging he blackmailed her

Comedian Ominiaho also known as Omini by his friends has gotten Ogbuji Grace Amarachi aka Gracia arrested by the police for alleging on her IG page on Sunday that he tried to blackmail her with a lesbian video she took with her friend Drea in 2011. Read here

According to Ominiaho, he never threatened to blackmail her at any point in time and claims that all she wanted was just publicity.

At a recent comedy show in Rivers state, top comedian Gordons mocked former Niger Delta warlord, Asari Dokubo, for hardly saying much since President Buhari came into power. Cracking a joke, Gordons said he met a girl at Hilton Hotel who in a bid to steal his money, asked him to drink much alcohol, as most Niger Delta men are bold and take a lot of alcohol. Comedian Ominiaho denies he threatened to leak Amarachi's lesbian sextape, says she wants cheap fame

Comedian Ominiaho has denied that he threatened City FM OAP Ogbuji Grace Amarachi after she took to her Instagram page to allege that he threatened to release her lesbian sex tape made in 2011 with a certain Drea because she refused to date him. If you missed the initial story.

According to Ominiaho, who posted series of whatsapp chats he had with Grace Amarachi, he never at one time threatened her and she's been fooled by Drea once again to believe he wanted to blackmail her. According to him, Grace and Drea are not replying his messages any longer. He's even changed his profile status to 'The Blackmailer', claiming he doesn't threaten, he acts! A 35-year-old Thomas Matthew who lived at Mountain village opposite Dantata Camp, Asokoro, Abuja, claims his late father initiated him into an occult group. Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has responded to calls by some Nigerians for the arrest of former President Goodluck Jonathan. Mr. Osinbajo has however said the Buhari administration does not arrest “anybody, anyhow”.

Answering a question at a session in the United States on Friday, on when Mr. Jonathan would be arrested, Mr. Osinbajo said the Buhari administration was not in the business of arresting just anyone anyhow.

US warns its citizens to avoid traveling to Turkey, orders consulate families to leave

The United States State Department has ordered the employees of the US Consulate in Istanbul, Turkey to ensure their family members leave the country following Intelligence information of threats on American citizens from radical terrorist groups in Istanbul.The US department of State also warned its citizens already in Turkey to be careful while those outside the country should avoid traveling there as they could be attacked at any time.

How pastors inflated price of land to David Oyedepo, left over now tears them apart

School proprietress kidnapped, raped and buried by her driver and his friends in Abuja (photos/video)

This sad incident happened in Abuja recently. According to the story being told by her close friends, the lady pictured above is the proprietress of a school, Chelsea International School in Abuja. She was allegedly kidnapped by her driver and some of his friends, raped and then buried in a shallow grave.

Investigations by the police led to the arrest of the said driver and his friends. They led the police to the shallow grave where they dumped her body. Her remains was later exhumed. See more photos and the sad video after the cut...
