Trump calls CNN fake again after saying he had the lowest approval rating of any new president

President Donald Trump has hit out at recent polls suggesting he has one of the worst early approval ratings in US history, saying that "any negative polls are fake news". A CNN/ORC International poll released on Friday found Mr Trump had the lowest approval rating of any new President, at 44 per cent.

Mr Trump wrote on Twitter: "Any negative polls are fake news, just like the CNN, ABC, NBC polls in the election. Sorry, people want border security and extreme vetting."

Dasukigate: Femi Fani-Kayode seeks out of court settlement

Former Minister of Aviation , Femi Fani-Kayode, on Monday asked the Federal High Court Abuja to adjourn his case to allow him explore other options of settlement aside from going to trial.

The counsel to Mr. Fani-Kayode, Ameh Raji, who made the application on his behalf said that since the sum of money involved was only N26 million, he believed that there were other options of settlement.

Nigerian woman Priscilla makes UK tighten health care rules

Overseas patients needing non-urgent treatment at hospital will be made to pay first under a major crackdown on health tourism. The move coincides with a hard-hitting BBC documentary which revealed how one Nigerian mother, Priscilla who gave birth to quadruplets had racked up a bill of £500,000. Priscilla, 43, went into early labour at Heathrow after being turned away from the US.

Two of the babies have since died. The other two are still being looked after at Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital in West London and their mother will not be able to repay even a fraction of their costs.

A taxi driver drove straight into coalition supporters celebrating President Barrow's victory and some football fans in Kombo Kitty, on Saturday, leaving at least 30 people seriously injured.

Gambian authorities have indicted the 30-year-old driver of the Mercedes Benz taxi, identified as Alpha Jallow of Brikama Nyambai was charged with ‘reckless driving causing injury,’ according to Police Spokesperson, Foday Conteh.

The protest has been hijacked, Ayo Fayose is part of it - Presidential aide, Lauretta Onochie

In an interview with Channels TV this morning, Lauretta Onochie who is the Personal Assistant to President Buhari on Social Media, said the nationwide protest happening today has been hijacked by some members of the opposition party.
