A woman caught with dead day old baby in sack in Lagos

A 40-year old widow named Mujidat was caught yesterday Wednesday October 30th with a dead day old baby she hid inside a sack around her residence at at the Iba area of Lagos, PM News reports.

It was gathered that a member of the community, High Chief Babatunde Balogun caught the mother of seven when she was trying to dispose the baby at about 5 p.m. on Wednesday. When questioned on the content of the sack, she claimed she was coming from the market where she bought some household items.

However, on a closer look, Balogun discovered that the sack contained a dead day old baby the woman allegedly had just delivered. He then called the attention of the other residents. Neighbours told P.M News that after Mujidat’s husband known as Baba Mushin died about three years ago, they have seen men visiting her residence, the house built by her late husband.

Superstar Iyanya celebrated his birthday today with a visit to Ikoyi Prisons. The singer who just turned 27 was welcomed warmly by the DCP Bamidele and the community; he proceeded into the correctional facility where he spoke with the inmates.

Pastor Kumuyi builds N1b Anchor University campus

The General Overseer of Deeper Life Bible Ministries, Pastor William Kumuyi is currently building an untra modern campus for his N1billion private university called Anchor University.

The proposed site for the campus is a vast expanse of land, which has already been fenced, along the Lagos/Ibadan Express way. The campus will serve as the permanent site of Anchor University whose main campus is sited inside Deeper Life's multibillion IBTC headquarters at Ayobo-Ipaja, Lagos.

The new campus will include hostels, faculties, administrative blocks, chalets, laboratories etc.

The pic above went viral last week. It shows a senior police officer believed to be an Assistant Commissioner of Police fondling the boobs of a light skinned lady. The Nigerian Police Force released a statement via their Facebook page a few days ago claiming the pic is Photoshopped. It doesn't look Photoshopped to me. Looks like the lady took the pic herself. Kerry Washington and her Nigerian husband expecting first child

The Scandal star is expecting her first child with her Nigerian born husband of four months, NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha.
Sources confirm to US Weekly that the actress is ‘about four months along’ and has been keeping her baby bump hidden ‘under roomy dresses’. “Kerry and Nnamdi are ecstatic,” a source told People.

The Emmy-nominated actress tied the knot with Nnamdi, who plays for the San Francisco 49ers, on June 24 in Idaho. This will be the first child for the couple.

Nigerian football legend Austin 'Jay Jay' Okocha, threw a lavish 40th birthday party for his wife of 16 years, Nkechi Okocha on Friday October 25th at Civic Centre in Lagos. The police in Lagos State have commenced investigation into how a nine-year-old girl died, after sustaining injuries caused by alleged consistent rape. According to police authorities, the deceased was raped over five times, by a 14-year-old student, Onyi Adimabua, in the Ikorodu area of the state.

The father of the deceased, Simeon Jigo, told Punch Metro that Onyi is the son of the proprietor of the school his daughter attended. He said his daughter opened up about the rape when she started having medical problems. The 77-year-old man said his daughter died on October 3, 2013.

Chris Brown enters rehab. Karrueche proves they are still together

To stop the break up rumours, Karrueche Tran posted the pic above on her instagram page and wrote 'Always and Forever'. Meanwhile it's being reported that Chris Brown has just entered a rehab facility in Malibu, California for anger management issues

"Chris Brown has elected to enter a rehab facility," a rep for the singer said in a statement to E! News Tuesday. "His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point."

L.A. County probation department is trying to determine if Chris violated his probation by getting arrested in D.C. over the weekend after allegedly punching a guy in the nose.

Unknown to me she 'worked' her NYSC down to Lagos to have my boyfriend. She was living with him and it didn't make any sense to me. Until later on, I found out they were getting married. What pained me most and the worst part of it was when I got to hear about it and confronted him, he said he can never do anything with my sister.and there you are getting her pregnant and marrying her. It got all messed up. This happened in September 2012. I haven't forgiven them. I don't think I ever will"

Bola Tinubu's daughter installed as the Iyaloja of Lagos

Former Lagos State Governor Ahmed Bola Tinubu's first daughter, Folashade Tinubu Ojo was yesterday October 29th installed as the new Iyaloja of Lagos and the President General of the Market Men and Women of Nigeria, taking over from her late grandmother, Habibat Mogaji, who died in June this year.

The installation took place at the palace of the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu 1. Before her new appointment, Folashade was the Deputy President General of the Market Men and Women.

So is she qualified to be Iyaloja of Lagos or did she get the title because of her father? Just wanted to know!
