Notorious B.I.G. autopsy released, 15 years after his death

The autopsy report for slain rap star Notorious B.I.G. has finally been released 15 years after his death in Los Angeles, but the 23-page document provided no new clues as to who shot Biggie, it was revealed yesterday.
The drive-by shooting of the Brooklyn native — whose real name was Christopher Wallace — has never been solved.
The long-sealed autopsy report revealed the fatal shot punctured B.I.G.’s colon, liver, heart and lung, while other bullets hit his arm, back and thigh.

The document also indicated that the rotund rapper was not intoxicated as he was gunned down in car after an LA party.
It could shed no light on possible motives for the shooting, including the theory that he was blasted as retribution for the murder of California-based Tupac Shakur in part of a East Coast-West Coast hip-hop feud.
An attorney for B.I.G.’s family said yesterday it’s ridiculous that LA cops have not arrested anyone for the 1997 murder.
“I’ve been advised by the homicide detective that was in charge of the investigation and is no longer with the department that the crime has been solved for several years now,” attorney Perry Sanders Jr. said.
