A three storey building has collapsed on Oloto Street in Ebute Metta area of Lagos, claiming at least two lives and a number of people are still trapped in the building rubble.
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) confirmed that the collapse occurred at about 2am Thursday morning.
Two dead bodies have been recovered and about 10 more people feared to be trapped under the rubble.
NEMA says two children are part of the rescued persons early this morning.
Nigeria’s commercial city has been consistently recording a number of building collapse in recent months with lives lost.
