Chocolate City artiste Ice Prince Zamani yesterday announced the launch of a limited edition clothing line to commemorate the release of his second album ‘Fire of Zamani’.
Ice Prince says the presentation of his fashion line will coincide with the release of his hugely anticipated ‘Fire of Zamani’ album because the album, nicknamed FOZ ‘inspired every piece we’ll make available on the line.
Products, according to Chocolate City CEO Audu Maikori, will include T-Shirts, Snapbacks, Sneakers, Belts and Pants. The album title was inspired by Nigerian pop icon 2face Idibia.

BMW Scandal: Coscharis gave N112m kickback to Stella Oduah

According to new reports by Sahara Reporters, the car company that sold the two BMW armored cars to NCAA, gave N112million to aviation minister Stella Oduah as kickbacks. (Kickback is a form of negotiated bribery in which a commission is paid to the bribe-taker for services rendered)

Even as the minister of aviation began a new spin today that the BMW armored cars purchased by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) for her use were done on "hire-purchase", SaharaReporters has unearthed new details about the $1.6 million spent by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority to purchase the armored BMW cars for Nigeria's Aviation Minister Stella Oduah.

A highly reliable source has told SaharaReporters that the shady deal for the car was done entirely between Coscharis Motors Limited, a dealership from which the cars were purchased, one of Ms. Oduah’s private firms based in Abuja, and First Bank of Nigeria.

“The NCAA was not even aware of the deal until the minister told them to sign that they had received two BMW cars,” said our source.

After inking the deal, Coscharis Motors, sellers of the highly inflated automobiles, reportedly gave the Aviation Minister more than N112 million as kickbacks. Our source added that Cosmas Maduka, who owns Coscharis Motors, pocked N60 million for each of the two BMW cars.

Tchidi Chikere moves in with Nuella Njubigbo + Ex-wife finds love again

According to a new report by City People magazine this week, actress Nuella Njubigbo and Nollywood movie producer Tchidi Chikere have moved in together. Nuella, who has been dating Tchidi since before he divorced his actress wife Sophia Chikere, moved out of her Okota family home and moved into a new house with Tchidi at Graceland Estate in Ajah.

The couple reportedly moved in together a few months ago and are still decorating their new home. After reading this report I contacted Nuella's people to confirm the story and they said they have no comment on the matter. Nuella is known to vehemently deny reports if not true, she ain't denying this.

Meanwhile, Tchidi's ex-wife Sophia Chikere has also moved on. The mother-of-three is currently dating a UK based businessman. See their loved up photos after the cut...

Federal Govt "PDP1" marks PDP2's new headquarters for demolition

According to new reports, the Federal Govt, aka old PDP has marked the official headquarters of the new PDP in Abuja for demolition.

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA, Senator Bala Mohammed, has ordered the Development Control of the Federal Capital Development Authority, FCDA, to demolish the official Secretariat of the Baraje-led new PDP situated at 4, Oyi River Crescent, off Babangida Way, Maitama in Abuja.

The building (pictured above) was marked for demolition on October 11 about a month and a half after the new place was locked up by heavily armed policemen.

Ailing actor Pa Kasumu gradually losing his voice and sight

Ailing veteran actor, Kayode Odumosu aka Pa Kasumu's state of health has deteriorated. Encomium magazine reports that he now has a high level of hypertension and has also developed an advanced cerebrovascular disease, a medical condition that is related to brain dysfunction which affects the blood vessels that transports blood to the brain. This new development has impaired his memory as well as gradually eroding his speech. He is also gradually losing the vision in his left eye.

Niece to the veteran actor and coordinator of the Save Pa Kasumu Group, Mrs Idowu Olajide, spoke on the recent development and Governor Fashola's promise. She said;

"As it is now, the situation is very disturbing. He has lost his voice but we believe with God, all things are possible. Governor Fashola directed him to First Cardiologist Hospital Ikoyi and the result from the test has been sent to him. We really appreciate the governor's step, it's in the right direction. But he hasn't said he would give Pa Kasumu N12million as been peddled and we have not received any money from him. So, we are still appealing to all the good-hearted Nigerians to come to the aid of Pa Kasumu because weather or not he is flown abroad, the ailment needs serious maintenance which will cost a lot of money".

The truth about Government's position on ASUU strike - Finance Ministry

This is a press statement from the Federal Ministry of Finance about the ongoing ASUU strike. It's been four long months with no apparent resolution to the conflict in sight and some people are blaming the Minister of finance Dr Okonjo Iweala for what's going on.

Kanye West kicked off his 'Yeezus' tour in Seattle, on Saturday October 19th and before his performance of his College Dropout hit song, Jesus Walks, a man dressed as Jesus walked on stage and Kanye jokingly asked "White Jesus, is that you?… Oh, shit!,". Later, Kanye and his female back-up dancers bowed to the Jesus look-alike as he stood on the mountain top.

Jeta and Mbong Amata have separated after almost 10 years of marriage

The prolific movie director and his beautiful actress wife of five years Mbong Amata, 28, have separated. They have actually been separated for about a year now. And from what I gathered Jeta and Mbong didn't fight, they just decided to let each other go.

Jeta met Mbong when she was only 16 years old in Calabar in 2001 during a movie audition. He waited for her to mature and they started dating when she turned 18 two years later. In 2008, they welcomed a daughter, that same year, Jeta married Mbong. They later moved from their base in Abuja to Los Angeles so Jeta could work on his movie projects.

President Jonathan will probe Stella Oduah - Presidency

President Goodluck Jonathan will soon order relevant government agencies to investigate the purchase of two bulletproof vehicles for the Minister of Aviation, Ms Stella Oduah, Punch reports.

Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Ahmed Gulak, in an interview with Punch on Friday said President Jonathan would not shield the minister.

Gulak, however, said the President would not take a decision on the fate of the embattled minister based on media reports.

He said Jonathan’s decision would be based on verifiable facts, which could only be achieved when relevant government agencies investigate the matter.

The presidential aide said Jonathan would not hesitate to show anybody found guilty of corruption or impunity the way out of his government.
