Only those who love poverty will vote Jonathan - APC VP candidate Yemi Osinbajo

Vice Presidential Candidate of the APC, Prof Yemi Osibajo says it is only Nigerians who love poverty that will return the present administration into office in 2015. He said this at a town hall meeting for artisans, tradesmen and farmers organised by the Lagos state government at the state secretariat yesterday December 30th 2015.
“No one is ignorant of all that is happening to us in this country. No one likes hunger and poverty; but people are hungry. In 2015, only those who love to continue to be hungry would prefer that the government in power at the centre remains there. By God’s grace, we would remove them from the seat of power. The people there presently cannot do anything, because they don’t know how to. They lack the capacity and capability to govern the country. I pray for the farmers and artisans that the Lord will bless us in the incoming year.” he said

Mathew Knowles' reacts to backlash for selling Beyonce's memorabilia

Last week, Beyonce's father put up a garage sale in front of his office where he sold off some of Beyonce/Destiny's Child and Solange's memorabilia. After he was criticised for doing it, with many thinking he did it because he's fallen on hard times, Mathew did an interview to set the record straight. He said the reasoning behind the garage sale had nothing to do with him needing money.
"Somehow that became we are going out of business, homeless and selling all of Beyoncé’s stuff to stay alive, which as you can see it’s just the opposite. If I needed money, I wouldn’t sell $5 T-shirts. I’d sell a Grammy or an MTV award. So that is insulting to think we need to sell $5 T-shirts. No, I don’t think so.”
Mathew Knowles says business is good and wants to turn the his Houston building that has been filled with all of this old merchandise into a new studio.

Indonesian officials say a search plane hunting for the missing plane have spotted objects in the sea believed to be wreckage from the plane which was carrying 155 passengers and 7 crew members.

An Australian Orion aircraft early this morning detected suspicious objects near Nangka island, about 160 kilometres south-west of Pangkalan Bun, near central Kalimantan, which is about 1,120 kilometres from the location where the plane lost contact while an Indonesian helicopter saw two oily spots in the search area a few hours later, this is according to Indonesian officials.

Experts believe that the aircraft was likely flying too slow to avoid a thunderstorm they encountered and this caused the plane to stall and crash.
