US based Nigerian woman cries out over tenant with police protection wanting to take over her house

A 49-year-old estate consultant based in the US, Mrs. Toyin Momodu, has cried for help over what she described as a collusion between one of her tenants and  the police to “steal” her  house in Lagos.

The house is a five-apartment building on Adebola Street, off Adeniran Ogunsanya, Surulere, Lagos, which Momdu said she bought from the Lagos State Development and Property Corporation 15 years ago.

A businessman, Mr. Oladipupo Ogunbiyi, who left his 2010 BMW in his landlord’s compound at Bode Thomas, Surulere, Lagos, and travelled abroad, came back in 2014 only to find out that the engine of the vehicle worth N3.7m had been removed and sold off.

He would later find out that the landlord’s driver, Ayodele Odunuga, and two mechanics had removed the engine under the pretext that the gasket had burnt.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has confirmed that 53 persons were burnt to death in a multiple motor accident that occurred on Thursday evening at Abudu town along Benin-Agbor-Onitsha express road. The accident involved seven vehicles which includes; two hummer buses, Toyota Sienna, One Dyna truck, a tanker carrying petrol a Ford bus and one Toyota corolla car and a motor cycle. An eye witness said they helplessly watched the victims burn to death as they couldn't do any thing to save them due to the lack of fire service station in the local government.

A woman identified as Rachel has set the home of one pastor Isaac Shofolabo whom she is having an affair with; killing his wife, two kids and a guest. The incident occurred around 1 a.m at 46, Oladunni Memorial Street, Double Powerline, Ejibo Lagos state.
According to neighbors, Rachel who is their tenant, has been dating the pastor who is in charge of Celestial Church of God, Joy of the Lord Parish located inside the premises for five years. The pastor's wife, Mary Shofolabo, his children Taiwo, 19, and Iredamola and a relative, Kazeem, 7, died at the General Hospital, Gbagada where they rushed to for treatment.

Woman arrested for allegedly trying to sell her three children in Enugu State
