The registrar said after thorough processing of answer scripts of the candidates who sat for the examination, the board discovered some forms of malpractice perpetuated during the conduct of the examination.
2 brothers and a pregnant woman shot dead in Surulere last night
Two brothers (pictured above) were shot dead around 8pm last night as they hung out with friends at a bar not to far from Shitta Primary School near Ogunmola street. A pregnant woman was unfortunately hit by a stray bullet during the attack. She was pronounced dead at the hospital she was rushed to. The dead brothers, (The one in white is Mufu) were not older than 25. Policemen were called to the area last night but no arrest has so far been made.

Woman slashes daughter with blade for wasting N100

PUNCH Metro leant that Kudirat decided to punish her daughter after she wasted N100 given to her by her father on junk food.
A resident, who pleaded anonymity, told PUNCH Metro on Tuesday that neighbours were furious after seeing the damage on Precious, adding that the incident was one of many brutalities perpetrated by Kudirat, a mother of two and a trader.He said, “We wanted to take her to the police, but Precious pleaded for her. The residents nevertheless searched for Kudirat, but she could not be found.
Precious’ father, Dayo, is a customs officer.
Baga Raid: US Withdraws Military Assistance To Nigeria
The United States Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Terence P. McCulley in a private meeting today Thursday May 2nd in Abuja disclosed the US government position to about ten members of the human rights community in Nigeria. Mr. Terrence said that the US congress had passed a law that bars the US from rendering military assistance to any government that violates basic rights of citizens. He said the US govt has therefore ceased to assist Nigeria militarily in obedience to the law.
The US before now supported the Nigerian military and security agencies with training, intelligence and weapons.
