Beauty/Fashion tips for the rainy days

It’s that time again where every where is wet and the sun hardly comes out(though when it does it’s brutal). It’s pretty hard to maintain your make up and excellent style in this weather. The excess moisture of the weather makes the hair dull, flat and tangle easily. The skin is at higher risk of fungal infection. as fungus is borne in humid weather. It can easily enter the skin through wet pores.
The temptation to just dress sloppy because your clothes might get ruined by the messy ground and rain is higher. Here are some tips on how to keep you hair, skin and clothes perfect during the raining season.
Always have an umbrella in your bag! Be bold and get an umbrella with bright but chic colors that can help brighten the mood.

Try to stay away from outfits that can be ruined by the rain such as suede, cotton and the likes. Wearing stuffs like a turtleneck or a bright colored sweater would help you keep warm during the cold and still look good.
We all know the famous rubber shoes being worn now. It won’t be a bad idea to get one that is less common but still fashionable.
Keep a little towel/tissue to clean up the dirt and mud from your shoes when you get to your destination.
Avoid using too much hair products and use a mild shampoo and gentle conditioner for the hair.
Have a regular wash for your hair and use conditioner after every wash. Do not apply it on the hair root or scalp but on the hair shaft.
You need to drink plenty of water and have a proper protein enriched diet along with plenty of fruits and vegetables.
Use a face scrub twice a week to exfoliate.
Steam your face for about fifteen minutes to soften the skin and open pores up, it would be easier to press out the pimple pulse without causing a blackhead. This is a treatment technique and should be done the right way.
Use a skin brightening toner each time you wash your face to close the pores and restore your skin’s pH balance.
With these steps and more, the raining season should be a fabulous one for you.
