The daughter of the executive governor of Oyo State, Alhaji Abiola Ajimobi, Bisola is at present enmeshed in an alleged murder controversy involving her ex-lover, Adeola Randoph who died early this year. And from family sources, it has taken this long to discover Bisola`s alleged involvement in the sudden death of this youngman because the Ajimobis were said to have allegedly been pressing buttons to sweep the case under the carpet.

Sinkiratu Sindodo denies ending relationship with Fuji star, Alao Malaika

Not to cause any drama, just sincerely want to know what you guys think. Can two women who at a time shared one man and have children by him, ever be real friends? I'm not talking about being cordial with one another, I'm talking about being friends, remembering birthdays, hollering at each other on Twitter etc. You read their tweets, and you're like, WTH???

Is this a sign of maturity between two women who have buried the hatchet or just oju aye, as in eye service? If the former is the case, then this behaviour should really be encouraged, if not, then...stop it girls! Hehe! Please share your thoughts...

We need more money for food in Aso rock, Presidency tells Senate

The Presidency on Wednesday asked the Senate to increase the N1, 305, 292, 050 set aside in the 2013 budget for refreshment and meals and other miscellaneous expenses in the State House. A breakdown of the Miscellaneous sub-head in the Presidential Villa's budget shows that N203,752,432 was allocated for refreshment and meals; N107,412,768 would be spent on honorarium and sitting allowance while N37, 277,825 will be for publicity and advertisement. The State House Permanent Secretary, Emmanuel Ogbile, who appeared before the Senator Dahiru Kuta-led Committee on Federal Character and Inter-Governmental Affairs, defended the N14, 715,566,104 budget for next year. Barely three days after he parried a question on whether he would contest the 2015 presidential election, indications emerged Wednesday that President Goodluck Jonathan’s mind is clear on the matter.

He thinks that he is eligible to contest contrary to what some people may say. This emerged Wednesday as he told the Federal High Court, Abuja Division that contrary to the provision of the 1999 Constitution, an incumbent president’s tenure of office can extend beyond four or eight years.

Baby born with heart outside body

A newborn girl born with her heart outside her chest survived a high-risk surgery and doctors are “very optimistic” about her chances for a long, healthy life. Audrina Cardenes was recovering at Texas Children's Hospital after being born five weeks earlier with a rare and normally fatal condition called ectopia cordis. According to the hospital’s official blog, the condition is where a baby’s heart is located either partially or totally outside the chest.

Building collapses in Lagos killing two sisters

A medical doctor, Bukky Coker and her sister, Toyin, a university graduate, were killed in their sleep on Wednesday in another building collapse in Lagos.

They were occupants of Block M20 at the Low Cost Housing Estate, Oke-Afa, Isolo.

It was learnt that initially the neighbours did not know that the woman’s daughters were under the rubble as she had told the rescuers after she was brought out wounded that she was not sure her daughters came home the previous night after a church service in Isolo.

Anambra Assembly votes for additional state - Orimili State

he Anambra State House of Assembly, on Tuesday, threw its weight behind the clamour for the creation of Orimili State out of the present Anambra.

Passing the motion sponsored by Hon. Tony One week Muonagor and seconded by Emeka Idu, the House urged Governor Peter Obi, National Assembly members from the state, and Anambra indigenes within and outside the country to support the demand for the new state.
