The drop dead gorgeous model has responded to reports that a sugar daddy is financing her super rich lifestyle. Ishioma, who ventured into fashion retail business with the launch of Esther's Closet, has a 2 door convertible BMW Z4, a silver colored Range Rover Sports SUV and a Toyota Camry. Ishioma says it's her hard work that's paying off and not any sugar daddy, contrary to popular opinion.

"This is Lagos, what do you expect? People make up stories and say what they don't know about you. If you know me very well, you will know I am a go-getter. All my hard work is paying off. God is my sugar daddy. He has been good to me"

Kim Kardashian announced on the Today Show during press for the new season of her reality show - Kourtney and Kim take Miami, that her Baby is due in July! Same as Princess Kate! I suspect you Kim Kardashian...this is deliberate! She even announced hers a day after the Duchess announced her baby due date. But there can only be one Princess baby...Too bad!

Newly married actor Ibrahim explains-'The only time I hit my ex'

I read with dismay a report involving one actress, Nkiru Sylvanus and myself. The story catalogued my supposed relationship with the actress and that I bought her a house in Abuja and chain of cars, and also instrumental to her being appointed as SSA Lagos Liaison officer, when it was evident that she was not from Imo State but Abia. 

While I hasten not to deny that Nkiru Sylvanus is my friend, I want to clearly state that I have never bought her a house and neither have I ever bought her a car. These, obviously, are the figments of the imagination of the reporter who chose to file his report without a by-line.

Cyclist Lance Armstrong confesses doping to Oprah

How he got away with this for many years is beyond me. After more than a decade of denying doping claims, cyclist Lance Armstrong has admitted to Oprah that he used performance-enhancing drugs to help him win seven Tour de France titles. A person familiar with the situation told the Associated Press that Armstrong confessed to Oprah Winfrey during an interview taping, which is slated to air on Thursday on her network. 

Armstrong was stripped of all seven Tour titles and banned for life last year by a U.S. Anti-Doping Agency after it was discovered that he used performance enhancement drugs to win.

He had a meeting last month with US Anti-Doping Agency officials, and they said they were willing to reduce his life ban if he would testify against the people who helped him dope.

The photo that sparked the wedding rumour

Nkiru, according to the report, married the Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Umar Sani, as second wife just a week after she was released by kidnappers. The report also claimed it was Mallam Sani that paid the N8million ransom money. Another false report.

Mallam Umar Sani has reacted to the report, calling it ridiculous and a figment of the writer’s imagination.

“The report is very funny. How can you marry somebody you have not seen for over three months? The last time I saw her was in September so how can a marriage take place when the subject matters have not seen each other? I have not married Nkiru Sylvanus and if a wedding of such took place, people should be able to name the place, date and time. It is not true”. He told reporters at the Presidential Villa in Abuja yesterday.

Folorunsho Alakija Aides arrested for fraud

An aide of billionaire business woman, Mrs Folorunsho Alakija, and six others have been arrested by EFCC for forgery, impersonation and stealing N3 million from Mrs Alakija's foundation, Rose of Sharon.

Vincent Ayewah (pictured above centre) conspired with six others to allegedly steal cheques and withdraw money meant for the beneficiaries of the Rose of Sharon Foundation. Mrs Alakija, who petitioned the EFCC, alleged that Vincent forged cheques of the foundation’s Stanbic IBTC Bank Account and got his sister Miss Florence Ayewah  (pictured above, right) and their friends to cash the forged cheques by presenting them with fake identity cards.

In the course of investigation,  it was discovered that Vincent used his position to enlist his family members as beneficiaries of the scheme. Florence was arrested at a Stanbic IBTC bank in Lagos while trying to cash a forged Cheque in the sum of N97, 000 in favour of one Ms Olubunmi Juliana Ishola. Besides Vincent and Florence, six other members of the syndicate involved in the scam and who have also been arrested are: George Ehizibolo, Onwuwa David, Okonkwo Chikadibia, Emmanuel Ayewah, Florence Ayewah and Chinyere Awanah.

The suspects will be arraigned in court soon.

First Lady Patience Jonathan flown out to Germany again?

Sahara Reporters is reporting that our First Lady has been flown out to Germany on another emergency. They said medical sources in Abuja told them that the first Lady had to be flown out due to new health concerns.

There is no official word from the presidency regarding her trip and her principal media aide Ayo Osinlu told SaharaReporters by phone that he couldn’t tell of Mrs Jonathan's movements because he was not in Abuja at the moment.

Kate Middleton's baby due in July

St James's Palace announced Yesterday.

‘Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in July. The Duchess's condition continues to improve since her stay in hospital last month.’ St James's Palace spokesman said.

31-year-old Kate is believed to be around 13 to 14 weeks pregnant

Arepo pipeline explosion: Bodies of vandals float on creeks

NNPC pipeline was vandalized on Saturday January 12th at Arepo in Ogun state, barely a month after it was fixed after it was vandalized in August 2012. The vandalism led to an explosion that killed at least 30 people.

Bodies of four of those people were found yesterday Sunday January 13th floating in the swamp around the explosion site in Arepo. The bodies had floated up from the water, while several bodies are suspected to be inside the swamp.

The explosion occurred according to an eye witness, Sunday Reuben (pictured above, who is now late) after two of the vandals reportedly engaged in a heated argument which led to one of them shooting into the air with his rifle. Bullets shot from the rifle hit the ruptured pipeline and led to the explosion. Several died, many arrested. Now it will take NNPC several months to repair it again!

According to data analyzed from E-Poll Market Research, which assigns stars an "E-Score" to measure their marketability, West's fragile popularity has indeed made a southbound U-turn in the past half year. West first stepped out with his new girlfriend in April 2012. A coincidence? Likely not.

"He was starting to bounce back from [the 2009 VMA incident with Taylor Swift]," E-Poll Senior Director of Marketing and Communications Randy Parker told the Huffington Post. "There does appear to there is some sort of fallback or blowback from him hooking up with Kim. One of the things we measure is an attribute called 'Overexposed'. We find that people use it as a general way of saying, 'I’ve had it with you. You’ve just gone a little too far.' I’m guessing his overexposed score is quite high."

Gov Sullivan Chime, in UK hospital with heart disease

Governor Sullivan Chime, who has been missing from Enugu State since September 2012 when he applied accumulated leave that ought to have lasted only one and a half months, is battling heart disease in London’s Cromwell Hospital, sources have told SaharaReporters.

Despite efforts to ferry him home to quell public restlessness in the State, the condition of the governor, whose medical sojourn started in India, has remained dire.

Majek Fashek is getting worse

According to people close to him, Majek Fashek disappeared from his Gowon Estate home in December 2012 without telling anyone where he was going to, then reappeared sometime last week, looking haggard, weak and unaware of his surroundings; worse than he's been in recent times. The Reggae icon, who said he takes cocaine whenever he can afford it, is currently hospitalized as friends say his mental health has deteriorated drastically since his return.

He has become a shadow of his old self, breaking bottles and behaving very abnormal. In fact, he has not been himself since he returned to the country. Right now, he is hospitalized. We are trying to  stabilize his condition." Haija Oluremi Dangaji, CEO of his management company, A-Plus Entertainment, said

A close source said the couple told me that Mr Obayuwana called Ene at 12.03 early Saturday morning and told her to go outside her home to see her surprise birthday present. A driver was waiting outside Ene's home holding the key to a brand new BMW car.

Abuja designer, Nene Kester, is set to launch her vibrant collection in Lagos on the 27th of January 2013.The young designer who had a photo shoot with ace photographer Hakeem Salaam at The Best Western hotel Victoria Island stated after the shoot that she was very excited using Imade Ogbewi for her look book. Imade has graced top magazines and fashion weeks both local and internationally.

Aaron Swartz,Internet genius,hangs himself in his NYC apartment

26 year old Aaron Swart was found dead in his New York apartment on Friday January 11th, weeks before he was to go on trial for downloading subscription-only academic papers with the intent to distribute them.

The hacker-activist was facing federal charges, a possible sentence of 35 years in prison and a $1 million fine. Guess he couldn't take it all and so he hanged himself in his apartment in Brooklyn on Friday.

"Aaron has been depressed about his case/upcoming trial, but we had no idea what he was going through was this painful." Susan Swartz, Aaron's mother, posted on a hacker section of the Ycombinator Web site today.

SSS arrest Boko Haram leader in residence of former Rep

The SSS has arrested one of the wanted leaders of the Boko Haram at the residence of a former member of the House of Representatives in Abuja.

Hassan Pagi Bukur was arrested on Saturday in the Gwarinpa district of Abuja at the private residence of Honourable Tijani Umar Kumalia, a member of the lower house between 2003 and 2007, according to reports in the local media, which quoted an unnamed security source.

A security guard employed by Honourable Kumalia, a politician from Borno State, the spiritual headquarters of the Boko Haram, was also arrested by the SSS.

The unnamed source also revealed that the former lawmaker was interrogated by SSS officials and released. The detained Boko Haram leader, Bukur according to the security source was responsible for handling stolen vehicles used by the Boko Haram in its deadly car bombings (The Will Nigeria)
