"The holy spirit led me to start this church - Nigerian gay pastor
"For me I have always been gay and I never became gay. I became aware of my same sex attraction whilst living in Nigeria at the age of seven. Boys flirt with each other unknowing all the time and it was at this stage that I was more aware of my emotional, physical, mental and sexual attraction to boys. I was 14 when I had my first sex with a guy, it was filled with curiousity, passion, embarassment and guilt as with any heterosexual having sex for the first time.

Read below...
On how long it took him to get Uche to become his wife:
(Laugh) It was really fun because we got to know each other through a friend who happens to be a business partner but it took some few months and persuasion before she finally agreed to marry me because I told her point blank that I want to marry her and all. She paused and never said anything. Then there was this time we both went on jet skiing, one thing led to another and she said she was going to kill me because it took a little distance before we could get to the boat; so I told her if you want to kill me then marry me because that will make it a bit easier and the rest is history now.
US doctors cure baby born with HIV
"This is a proof of concept that HIV can be potentially curable in infants," said Dr. Deborah Persaud, a virologist at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, who presented the findings. Read more below.
The baby girl was born in a rural hospital in the state of Mississippi and her mother had just tested positive for HIV infection.A team of doctors at the University of Mississippi Medical Centre in Jackson then put the infant on a cocktail of three standard HIV-fighting drugs when she was just 30 hours old. That fast action apparently knocked out the HIV in the baby's blood before it could form reservoirs in the body. The new findings could be especially critical for AIDS-plagued African countries where many babies are born with the virus, researchers said.
"You could call this about as close to a cure, if not a cure, that we've seen,'' Dr. Anthony Fauci of the National Institutes of Health, who is familiar with the findings, told The Associated Press.

Catholic Church may have already had a black pope
An article on USA Today. Read below...
'The early papacy was not white, it was much more diverse,' says a historian of African-American Catholicism.
Ghanaian cardinal Peter Turkson is frequently mentioned amid all the speculation about who might succeed Pope Benedict XVI. If picked, some would see him as the first African and the first black pontiff in the nearly 2,000-year history of the papacy.
But in all that time has there really never been a black pope? Or an African pope? It depends on what you mean by "black" and by "African."
