IEBC declares Uhuru Kenyatta 4th president of Kenya

Mr Uhuru Kenyatta was yesterday declared the 4th president of Kenya by the country's Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission. Kenyatta will assume office later this month as the first Kenyan President to come into office under the country’s new constitution which was adopted after the crisis that followed its 2007 elections.

Amazing:Pregnant mum has baby's face on her stomach

Pregnant British mum Karen McMartin was shocked to see the face of her baby on her pregnant belly. It looked like the baby was trying to break out of her tummy. Karen discovered the print on her tummy when she was just 25-weeks pregnant. Karen explained to The Sun how she discovered it.

“I was in the staff room on a break. We were actually having a laugh at my belly button sticking out and checking for baby movement. Then Karen who owns the salon came in and said, ‘Oh my God, I can see a face.’ She took a picture and we’ve been showing it to folk ever since.”

Looks like a face to me but doctors say it's an illusion we are looking at and not the face of Karen's unborn child. Read their opinion after the cut...

President Jonathan sacks pension boss Abdulrasheed Maina

The embattled chairman of the pension reform task force, Abdulrasheed Maina, has been removed from his position at the pension office.Mr. Maina was Director at the Customs, Immigrations, and Prisons Pension Office.

The Federal Government has also appointed Olabisi Jaji as Mr. Maina’s replacement.

The National Assembly had ordered Mr. Maina’s sack by the government, and his arrest by the police. The police have since declared him wanted.

They are officially married yesterday and I'm waiting for their white wedding photos...a brand new Toyota Prado Jeep was also presented to the brand new couple by the Governor of Akwa-Ibom State, His Excellency Godswill Akpabio, he also promised to fund the traveling expenses of 20 of Annie's family members to their Dubai wedding on the 23rd of March.

Catholics angry over topless photo of model in priest robe

The Catholic League, one of the most prominent religious organisations in America  has slammed Loaded after its front cover this month spoofed Pope Benedict XVI's retirement.
The front page features busty ex-Page 3 girl Lucy Pinder wearing an open white robe, a cross around her neck, and holding another cross in her hand.
The 29-year-old, who is also dressed in black stockings and suspenders, is seen gazing up into the sky, wrapped in a priest's stole above the headline For God's Sake.
Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League, told TMZ: "Lucy Pinder shouldn't have any problem turning men's heads, so it is all the more gratuitous to see her wearing a priest's stole, stitched with crosses, nicely covering her plus-sized chest."
And he blasted: "If Lucy has any guts, perhaps next time she'll carefully drape herself in some Islamic garb during Ramadan. And then run for the hills."
A Loaded magazine spokesman told The Sun: "It wasn't aimed with the intention of upsetting the Catholic Church or the Vatican.
"However if they do want to consider Lucy Pinder for the Papal vacancy we will put it to her."
Lucy defended the controversial cover, saying: “The shoot is meant to be fun and very tongue-in-cheek." Very funny!
