Second marathon bombing suspect, Dzhorkhar Tsarnaev captured alive

The 19 year old terror suspect was cornered on a small boat in the back of a house and captured alive Friday night. Dzhorkhar was found by a passerby who discovered blood trails to a boat at the backyard of a home in a Watertown neighborhood. The passerby looked inside the boat, noticed movement, and then called the police.

An hour later, a seriously injured Dzhorkhar, who escaped an overnight shootout with police that left his older brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev dead, was captured and taken to the hospital, bringing an end to one of the the biggest manhunts in recent US history. Five days after the bombing, one suspect killed, another captured.

Gov Rochas Okorocha of Imo state sustains head injury in road accident

The convoy of the Governor of Imo State; Mr Rochas Okorocha has been involved in a head-on collision in Orlu local government area of the state and the governor sustained minor head injuries. This happened during his inspection tour to some state projects in the area.

According to his media aide, “the governor sustained a minor injury which is a minor cut on his head but he is presently in a good and stable condition and has been attended to by medical personnel.” He asked Imo State citizens not to panic and go about with their normal duties since the Governor is in a good and stable condition and responding to necessary treatment.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are officially divorced, according to TMZ. A judge in LA dissolved their marriage in today's court hearing...and Kris got nothing from Kim. He had asked for $7 million as divorce settlement and had also asked for an annulment of the marriage based on fraud, but recently dropped his demands. Kim will have her baby now as a single woman.

The story of the two brothers suspected in the Boston Marathon bombings

Two Russians brothers, 26 year old Tamerlan and 19 year old Dzhokhar, a second-year medical student in the U.S, are suspected to be behind the Boston Marathon bombings. Tamerlan was killed in a shootout with police last night, Dzhokhar is being intensely pursued. Below is their story...

In May of 2011, Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev (pictured above and below right), then a senior at a prestigious high school, was awarded a $2,500 scholarship from the city of Cambridge, Mass., to pursue higher education. Now, Tsarnaev is on the run, described as "armed and dangerous" and suspected of the Boston Marathon bombing.

Two brothers, one now dead, one alive and at large. After hours of only grainy images of two men in baseball caps to go on, a portrait gradually started emerging Friday of the men suspected in the attack.

Ground opens in Chicago, swallows 3 cars

A large sinkhole opened up in the middle of the street and swallowed three cars on Chicago’s South Side. According to police, a driver was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The cars, however, weren’t so lucky. Two cars were inside the hole when fire crews arrived. A third car, which was parked, slid into the hole after first responders got to the scene. Sokoto Deputy Governor's Son dies in horrific car accident

Luqman Mukthar Shagari, second son of the Deputy Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Mukthar Shagari died yesterday afternoon April 18th in a horrific car accident.

The 28 year old business man (in white) was on his way to Sokoto from his base in Abuja when he lost control of his car. Luqman and his friend Ghaddaffi (pictured above in the passenger sit), died instantly. The one at the back miraculously survived the accident. Luqman's car was burnt beyond recognition. (pictured below right)

The photo below left was the last photo the friends took in the car before the accident yesterday. Luqman is survived by a wife and a son.

One Boston suspect killed, second suspect on the run

One of the Boston marathon bombing suspects has been killed and the other is on the run after a dramatic shoot-out in the city.The alleged terrorist - dubbed 'Suspect 1' by the FBI - died in hospital after a university patrol cop was shot dead on campus and explosions and machine gunfire rocked the city's Watertown area.
Police said he had a bomb strapped to his chest and fear the second man - named 'Suspect 2' - who is still on the loose, is armed with explosives and "wants to kill people".

A Nigerian teenager, Opemipo Jaji found guilty of rape, facing life imprisonment

A Nigerian teenager who attacked and raped an 11 year old schoolgirl in November 2012 has been found guilty of rape and facing life imprisonment in the UK. 18 year old Opemipo Jaji was under a supervision order for having child porn and had just left an appointment with the Probation Service when he followed the victim as she took a bus home from school, according to the UK Daily Mail.

Opemipo took the girl to Jubilee Park in Enfield where he repeatedly raped her for three hours. The court heard today that the Nigerian Paedophile stuffed a school tie and gloves into her mouth to stop her screaming. But Opemibo denied being the attacker, telling police he had seen the girl on the bus but nothing had happened. "I am just not capable of doing something as despicable and heartless as this," he told the court.

Well, nobody believed him. Not only was the victim's blood found on his clothes, CCTV footage also captured him in the same bus with the girl, plus he fitted the girl's description of her attacker and he admitted he was at the park that evening but only to compose music. He was found guilty and will be sentenced in two weeks time.

UNILAG Medical Student Drowns

A 200-level student of the Department of Dentistry, School of Medicine, University of Lagos, Unilag, Idi-Araba, Eniola Abiola has drowned.

The incident occurred at the Elegushi Beach, Ikate, in Eti-Osa Local Government Area, of Lagos, where the deceased was attending a friend’s birthday party.

Abiola was reported to have got to the party at 8:15 p.m. and later joined her friends a few meteres away from the shoreline to take photographs.

FBI releases photos of two suspects in Boston attack

The F.B.I. yesterday released still and video images of two suspects in the Boston Marathon bombings - including a man who was seen setting down a backpack at the site of the second blast - and appealed for the public’s help identifying the men.

One was seen placing a dark-colored backpack outside the Forum restaurant, the site of the second bombing, just minutes before the explosion, said Richard DesLauriers, the special agent in charge of the F.B.I.'s Boston field office.

“Today we are enlisting the public’s help to identify the two suspects,” Mr. DesLauriers said at a news conference on Thursday evening in Boston.

In the video, both men are carrying backpacks, and wearing baseball caps, one a dark cap and one a white cap turned backward. They are walking along Boylston Street.

Explosion at Texas fertilizer plant kills 15, over 150 injured

A deadly explosion at a Texas fertilizer plant yesterday night Wednesday April 17th has left at least 15 people dead, including five volunteer firefighters and one police officer. The blast, which measured 2.1 on the Richter scale according to Reuters, left the town of West, 20 miles north of Waco, 'like a a warzone'. Over 180 people were injured in the blast, while dozens of homes and buildings were destroyed.

Public safety officials say they expect the death toll to rise and that rescue efforts have been hampered because of hazardous chemicals in the air following the explosion. Just feels like the US has been under attack this past few days. Read full story HERE

The actor and producer took delivery of a Bentley Continental GT car on April 7th and since then tongues have been wagging, with some claiming a sugar mummy bought the car for him. Aremu Afolayan has reacted to the speculations, insisting he bought the car with his hard earned money. Below is what he told an Encomium magazine reporter:

"I don't think a woman will love a man so much that she will buy a Bentley for him. If they think it's easy to date elderly women and get a Bentley, let them try.
