British-Nigerian Femi Oke to host Al Jazeera's "The Stream"
The former BBC, Sky and CNN journalist will take over presenting duties from Monday 6th May.
Femi has been based in the US since 1999 and spent nine years anchoring
and reporting for CNN in Atlanta. She was host for the programme Inside Africa,
which she also helped launch. For the last five years she has been a
senior editor and host at the largest NPR affiliate in the US, WNYC.

Paul 'Psquare' Okoye abandons second baby mama in London hospital?
A few weeks after welcoming his first new born baby in Atlanta, P Square – who is also known as P2 – had another baby delivered for him in a London hospital by a former beauty pageant contestant. However, this time, P Square has refused to claim paternal responsibility for the baby boy.

With due respect to taxi drivers who means of livelihood are through that means, I state, emphatically, that I am not a taxi driver neither am I in the United States of America . I am a professional footballer who loves my profession and yet to resign from playing football.

39 killed, 30 injured, Houses burnt as Christian & Muslim clash
Scores of houses were set ablaze and destroyed during the clashes in the town of Wukari which come amid a surge in religious violence in the west African nation.
“We have so far compiled a death toll of 39 people while 30 others were seriously injured,” state police spokesman Joseph Kwaji told AFP on Saturday. Local residents told AFP that the death toll could rise.
“Thirty-two houses have also been destroyed in the violence,” Kwaji said of the unrest which has prompted authorities to impose an indefinite all-round curfew in the predominantly Christian city.
