Incredible moment guide dog saved trainers from runaway car

An 18 month old guide dog named O'Neil saved the lives of two of its trainers by alerting them to an out-of-control car speeding towards them on a pavement in San Rafael, California.

The labrador was being taken on a field test when he suddenly stopped and turned his head to look behind him. That prompted his trainer (in blue shirt behind) to glance round to see a black car reversing straight at them.

Kanye West no longer interested in selling a million record

But honestly, at this point, when I listen to radio, that ain’t where I wanna be no more. Honestly, at this point, I could give a f**k about selling a million records. As long as I put out an album for the summer that y’all can rock to all motherfucking summer. And I don’t give a fuck to what the label tell me; I’m gon’ sell more records. ‘Cause at this point, I don’t really give a f**k about outside opinions."

Five NANS members die in fatal auto crash on their way to UNIIYO

The Senate President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Donald Onukaogu and four other students were killed in a tragic auto accident along the Umuahia - Ikot Ekpene federal road on their way to the University of Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State to intervene in the crisis that rocked the school yesterday. The bus they were traveling in collided with a trailer which was said to have lost control.

Donald was a student of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri. May their souls rest in peace. Amen.

Scrap plane spotted being towed in Lagos

According NEMA spokesperson, the plane spotted on the streets of Lagos last night/early this morning is the scrap of an aircraft that was evacuated from the airport last night after the federal government issued a directive that all scrap aircraft be evacuated from all airports. The aircraft was spotted being towed along Mangoro and later seen at a gas station.

School proprietor caught having sex with 11 year old pupil

Residents of Agric Olope area of Ado Ekiti have apprehended the proprietor of a private Nursery and Primary School, who was found in a bush allegedly having sex with a pupil of his school. The incident happened on Monday after school hours.

Our correspondent gathered on Wednesday that the proprietor, identified as Mr. Tunde Ibitoye, picked the girl and another pupil of the same school and was taking them home in his car when he stopped at a deserted place and went into the bush pretending to be defecating.

An eyewitness, who said he caught the suspect in the act, said some minutes after the man went inside the bush, he called the victim to bring him tissue to clean up.

Riot at University of Uyo leaves one student dead

The Engineering students of the University of Uyo yesterday afternoon went for a peaceful demonstration to the office of the school's Vice Chancellor, Prof Comfort Ekpo, after the VC mandated students to pay N100 for the school bus which used to be free. The school management had shifted most of the Science student courses to the school's permanent site which is about 20 minutes drive from the main campus, and then made the shuttle N100. That means students will have to pay N200 to and fro everyday to the permanent campus for most of their lectures.
