Why Funke Akindele's husband announced their separation on Facebook

Funke Akindele's enstranged husband recently revealed he was building a one-storey building for her before she left.According to a report by E24-7 magazine,this is what the real situation is.
“That place is not for me, I have been through hell and back,” she told E24-7MAGAZINE on Friday.

"I was abused emotionally and verbally. Really, I felt we could work things out when the trouble started two months after the marriage, but I made up my mind and shut the door of the marriage at him when the trouble was coming to me too much. I stooped to conquer him; buried my fame and name to make him my husband, but it did not work.

At a point in time, I asked if it's not the same man that was all over me before we married. He nearly got me off my career. He called me severally; I did not pick his calls but when he realized my silence was tormenting him, he took to Facebook. It's alright. Ask him when did he come to my house last? He left me here in my rented apartment with nothing and he will just dash in and dash out. He gets abusive, caustic anytime we have a misunderstanding and often told me to my face, he's going to his wife in Oshodi.”

It's been revealed that Lauren's husband, Andrew Silverman filed papers in a Manhattan Supreme Court two weeks ago, naming Cowell as a co-respondent and citing adultery as the reason for ending the marriage. Simon would most likely be served with papers and he could be called to the witness stand to reveal details of the affair

Andrew Silverman's wife, Lauren, is expecting a child with the Xfactor judge. Lauren already has a 7 year old son with Andrew.

Andrew's brother Alexander Silverman told the New York Post that the baby constituted a 'betrayal' of trust, because Simon and Andrew were close friends for many years. He said: "It's an unbelievable story of betrayal. It is a sad story and a tragic story.'

53 year old Simon Cowell expecting his first baby with married socialite

53 year old music mogul, Simon Cowell, who has dated many beautiful women but has refused to marry is finally going to be a father. Us Weekly reports that Simon is expecting a baby with New York socialite Lauren Silverman, the estranged wife of one of Simon's close friends, Andrew Silverman.

Lauren is said to be about two and a half months pregnant. The X Factor judge and Lauren, 36, have been dating since late last year after Lauren's marriage to Simon's friend broke down.

Simon Cowell has been engaged twice; to model Louise Payne in 1995 and make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy from 2010 to 2011 but has never been married.

The multimillionaire who once said he's not cut out to be a dad is finally going to be one.

On Sunday 21st July 2013, Ify Gabriel Nwainokpor and his friend Kasim were attacked and beaten to death by a mob at the Ajara area of Badagry on the ground that their faces looked strange in the neighborhood, this is according to the people who posted the video of their lynching on Youtube.

They claim that the Nigerian Police (Badagry division) watched as these men were hacked to death before their prime. They are crying out to the world for justice and brought the barbaric incident to the attention of the media. Another lynching? This is unbelievable.

INEC Finally Registers APC

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has finally given the nod for the merger of the leading opposition parties in the country, Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) and the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC).

Following the approval, the individual certificates of the three parties involved in the merger had been withdrawn.
A statement released by INEC reads;

“The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has approved the application by three political parties – the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) and the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) – to merge into one, to be known as the All Progressives Congress. 

“On considering the application, the Commission found that the applicant-parties have met all statutory requirements for the merger, and has accordingly granted their request.Consequently, the Commission has approved the withdrawal of the individual certificates of the applicant-parties, and the issuance of a single certificate to the All Progressives Congress.”

Woman sets 11 year old house help ablaze over piece of meat

Policemen at Bode Thomas division of Lagos State command, Tuesday, arrested a woman who allegedly set her 11-year-old house maid ablaze in Surulere area of Lagos, for stealing a piece of meat from her pot of soup.
The maid identified as Ita Bassey-Eno who reportedly escaped death by the whiskers, is currently at the Burns and Trauma Centre of the Gbadaga General Hospital, with doctors battling to save her life.

Although her mistress, a staff nurse at an undisclosed hospital in Surulere, Mrs Nkese Iroakazi, reportedly denied the allegation at the police station, the ailing girl was said to have managed to state that she allegedly poured kerosene on her before striking a stick of matches to set her on fire.
The incident, as gathered, occurred last Saturday at 7, Adeniran Ogunsanya Street, after  Ita rushed out of  the apartment with fire on her, apparently in an attempt to plunge into a gutter. Unfortunately,  she reportedly fell before she could get to  the gutter.

In an interview with Encomium magazine, Funke Akindele's estranged husband revealed he was building a house (pictured right) for his wife before she ended the marriage. It's a one-storey building (uncompleted) located off Adeniji Jones in Ikeja

Mr Oloyede, who said he's not happy about what you all have been saying about him online, told the magazine;

"They wrote that I am a tout, from what you are seeing here now, do I look like a tout or garage boy? They also said I'm a drop out, from the way you and I have been speaking, do I speak like someone who did not go to school? I have decided to follow the advice of those who said I should not join issues with her and her supporters. I am not a celebrity. I am an estate developer. She is the star that has her career to protect and I don't want to be the one to spoil her career.

Woman gives birth to a baby weighing 13lb4oz without a C-section

A baby weighing almost a stone and measuring 22.6 inches long has been born in Germany.

Baby Jasleen arrived on July 26 and weighed a massive 13.47 pounds. Babies her size are usually born via a caesarean section, she was born naturally. The mother gave birth at University Hospital in Leipzig and discovered she had a previously undiagnosed case of gestational diabetes, German newspaper Der Spiegel reports.

This condition, which develops at around the 24th week of pregnancy, can lead to a larger than usual baby size. Although both mother and daughter are doing well, Jasleen remains in the neonatal care unit. She is now officially the largest new-born in Germany. (UK Daily Mail)

Billionaire Folorunsho Alakija acquires 4 G-Wagons for her four sons

One of the world's richest women, billionaire oil tycoon Mrs Folorunsho Alakija recently acquired four brand new 2013 G-Wagons for her four sons, according to a report by Society Now.

The luxury SUVs, which were specially made for the Alakija boys, were quietly brought into the country a few weeks back. Each is said to have cost at least N22mllion, minus shipping.

Mrs Alakija is said to be worth about $600m (as of 2012) and makes about $1m daily from her oil business. She also has a real estate portfolio worth over $100 million.
