D'banj and Don Jazzy perform together at Dotun and Taiwo's wedding

The former Mo'Hit Record bosses performed three of their hit songs at Dbanj's sister's wedding today. They performed Fall in Love, Endowed and my favorite, Suddenly. D'banj called Don Jazzy to join him on stage and he obliged. Heard they gave a good performance.

Hotel in Onitsha where two human heads were allegedly discovered

This is the popular hotel in Onitsha that was demolished by the Anambra State government last week after two human skulls were allegedly discovered inside. The hotel, called Upper Class Hotel, is located at 8 Old Market Road, Onitsha and is owned by business man, Mr Bonaventure Mokwe.

The human skulls, a male and a female head, were discovered after the Nigerian police raided the hotel following a tip off. Mr Mokwe has been arrested along with ten other people.

Toyin Lawani is pregnant for her 21 year old fiance, unveils baby bump

Toyin Lawani unveiled her new Freedom collection on day 3 of Africa Fashion Week in London. The CEO of Tiannahstyling, pulled a Beyonce at the end of the long runway and revealed her baby bump to the guests and press. She wore a red dress with white polka dots and trademark trainers. Disney star Raven Symone kinda comes out of the closet via Twitter

Ex-Cosby Show child actress and Disney star Raven Symone has kind of come out as a lesbian via Twitter. For years there have been rumours about Raven's sexuality, (many believed she was a closeted lesbian) and Raven appears to have finally put those rumours to rest.

After Rhode Island legalized same sex marriage, Raven Tweeted that now she can get married.

And in case some people didn't get it, Raven re-Tweeted a follower who said she was definitely out of the closet.

"I am a victim of child molestation' - Eva Alordiah

Eva Alodiah in a radio interview with Hotfm Abuja Breakfast show with Cheezy Charles and Tutu, confessed she’s a victim of child molestation when responding to question on why she hasn’t spoken publicly about the #ChildNotbride issue.

Eva said:

'We are such a country that is so blessed by God. We don’t have earthquake, volcanoes, tsunami. We are problems to ourselves and this is disgusting. I come from a background where I was molested as a child. Definitely it’s a serious situation where you have to put a child through that type of trauma’.

Nigerian Paralympics gold medalist, Joy Onaolapo, passes on

 The Nigeria Power Lifting Federation (NPLF) has confirmed the passing of Paralympics gold medalist, Joy Onaolapo. Joy won gold in the 52kg power-lifting category at the London 2012 Paralympics.

The married mother of two died last week in her home state in Edo. NPLF did not reveal her cause of death. May her soul rest in peace..Amen.

Glo drops Ramsey Noah, Rita Dominic, Uche Jombo, others as ambassadors

Globacom yesterday dropped their Nollywood ambassadors with the exception of four people - Chioma Chukwuka, Ini Edo, Funke Akindele and Desmond Elliot. These four remain as Glo ambassadors for now while Ramsey Noah, Rita Dominic, Mike Ezuruonye, Monalisa Chinda, Nonso Diobi, Uche Jombo, Odunlade Adekola have been dropped.

They've been told to go to the legal department of Globacom to pick  up a letter - a letter terminating their contract with the telecoms company.

Man arrested in Lagos for having sex with a mad woman

According to a story by PM News, officials of the Lagos State Government arrested the man you see above for having sex with a mad woman.

21-year old man, Lateef Sulaiman, for allegedly scaled a 14-feet fence to gain entrance into the Lagos State Rehabilitation and Training Centre, Majidun area of Ikorodu, Lagos, to have sex with the said mad woman.

Sulaiman was said to have jumped into the female dormitory around 9.30 p.m. and had sex with the mad woman before he was arrested and handed over to the taskforce at Alausa.

 Year 2000, Fame pre-award concert.  Dele Olukoju and Wale Oluwaleimu were the stage/project managers. I had met Wale before then and he had suggested I come perform in my bid to build a name.

 I went there with a friend of mine,we had spent the last kobo on us transporting ourselves and getting food to eat as the event didn't start early enough.

Nigerians in Benin Republic raided and dumped in a camp

According to a report by a Nigerian lawyer living in Benin Republic who sent out the story to the media, in the early hours of Wednesday July 31st, the police department of the Republic of Benin carried out a house to house search of Nigerians living in Cotonou, who don't have their passports and ID cards. The Nigerians they found wanting were bundled up and quarantined in a local primary school (pictured above).

A few other nationalities like Ghanaians and Nigers were also picked up but majority were Nigerians. The Benin police say they plan to continue their raid because some foreigners were constituting a nuisance in the area.

Miss Africa contestant found stabbed to death next to her 3yr old daughter

Model and former Miss Africa contestant, 29 year old Linah Keza was stabbed to death on Wednesday July 31st in her home in front of her 3 year old daughter, Holly.

Neighbours who responded to her call for help found the Rwanda-born model in a pool of blood in her London flat next to her crying daughter.

Linah's off/on boyfriend and father of her child, club promoter David Kikawa, 38, (pictured above with Linah) has been arrested in connection with her death. According to neighbours, David was a regular visitor at her flat until about two weeks ago. They told police he was jealous and possessive and frequently fought with Linah.

Linah's home had a panic button fixed when she alerted the police about cases of domestic violence. Sad. RIP, Linah!

Woman beats 3 year old girl to death for vomitting

According to a story by Punchng, a 21-year-old woman, Rebecca Bassey, (pictured above) has been arrested for allegedly beating her husband’s three-year-old niece, Deborah Bassey, to death.

Rebecca is accused of beating Deborah at their home in Ijaiye Ojokoro, Lagos on July 22nd because the little girl vomited and defecated on herself.

Chidi Lloyd unable to walk as he appears in court for the first time

Days after his arrest and with speculations and fears by his lawyer  and supporters that he was being tortured in Police custody, Leader of Rivers House of Assembly, Hon Chidi Llyod, was on Wednesday arraigned before Justice L. L Nyordee of the Port-Harcourt high court.

He is facing a six-count charge of conspiracy to murder and assault, attempted murder and malicious damage arising from the fracas in the House of Assembly on 9 July.
Though the case has been adjourned till the 6th of August, he was unable to walk on his own and had to be aided by 2 security men.
The House Deputy Speaker, Leyii Kwanee said the inability of Lloyd to walk on his feet was a confirmation of the alarm they had earlier raised that the man was being tortured to extract information from him. See more photos after the cut...
