Angelo did not propose to his model girlfriend last night

I'm sure some of you read online that Beverly's man (for now) South African dancer Angelo Collins proposed to his girlfriend last night? No he actually didn't. The photos you see above were posted online by friends of Angelo's girlfriend (before he entered BBA) Candice Arends, who were obviously angered by his public display of affection with Bev during the BBA finale. They made it seem like Candice was at the after party with Angelo and already got an engagement ring from him. But the reality is, the ring Candice is flaunting above is a promise ring Angelo gave her when they were dating before BBA. Angelo has since said his relationship with Candice wasn't serious and is happy with Bev.

Boy found under Arik plane tyre hole thought he was flying to America

The 14 year old boy who beat airline and airport security at Benin airport on Saturday August 24th and flew in the tyre hole of a Lagos-bound Arik plane actually thought he was on his way to the US.

Sources at Benin Airport said Daniel Oikhena ran away from home because he was being maltreated and was trying to escape from his parents when he joined the Arik flight. Unfortunately for him the plane wasn't flying to the US, it was flying to Lagos where the stowaway was immediately arrested as he alighted from the wheel well of the aircraft. Daniel is presently in the custody of the State Security Service (SSS) who are trying to unravel how he managed to pull off such a stunt.

How did you come into the movie industry?
"I have been acting since I was eight in Ripples. That was how I got into acting. For movies, I think that should be in 1998 in Most Wanted. I met Torino (Emeka Ojukwu) in a bus and to my greatest surprise, he recognized me from Ripples. He asked me why I left the industry and later invited me to the audition for Most Wanted. I got a role. A waka pass and that was it."

"Yes, Kunle Coker was actually my boyfriend, but he did not bring me to the industry.

First international flight lands at newly opened Enugu Airport

Teenage boy flies Arik Air from Benin to Lagos hiding in tyre hole

A teenage boy named Daniel Ikehina unbelievably beat airline and airport security at the Benin airport yesterday Saturday August 24th and sneaked into the tyre compartment of a Lagos-bound Arik flight. The boy flew safely with the aircraft which left Benin around 9am and landed at Murtala Muhammed airport, hidden throughout in the undercarriage. He was immediately arrested by airport security after passengers saw him emerging from the aircraft tyre hole.

Arik spokesman Banji Ola explains what happened:

The management of Arik Air has expressed shock over the incident wondering how the teenager beat the Aviation Security personnel at the Benin Airport to get to the runway. 

The pilot of Arik Air flight W3 544, departing Benin Airport for Lagos at 9.00am today 24th August, 2013 reported to the control tower the presence of a strange boy in the bush about 200 – 300 meters at the end of runway 23.

Human Rights Activist and Lawyer, Mike Ozekhome Kidnapped

Prominent lawyer and human rights activist, Mike Ozekhome SAN was kidnapped with his driver last night Friday August 23rd along the Benin-Auchi road in Edo state. Edo state commissioner of police Mr Foluso Adebanjo said four policemen were killed following the attack on Mr Ozekhome. The kidnappers are yet to contact his family or business associates.
