Rihanna spends N8m weekly on her appearance

Most of us look at Rihanna and wonder how a woman could be blessed with such flawless skin?
Well, its been revealed that a whole lot of money is pumped into her appearance weekly. According to Look Magazine, Rihanna who is worth $120m spends about $50k weekly on her beauty routine. That's about N8m.

The magazine reports that, Rihanna’s personal beauty team includes a dermatologist, tanner, a personal eyelash technician, hair stylist and make-up, who are all available for her around the clock.

“Her eyelash expert is on call 24/7, It’s not unusual for Rihanna to call at 11pm before a night out.“She gets laser skin tightening, oxygen facials, photo facials, even the infamous vampire facials. It’s not just her face, she gets laser treatments on her body too.

Actress Ini Edo's marriage packs up, removes husband's name from instagram

After five years together, actress Ini Edo's marriage to her US based husband Philip Ehiagwina has crashed. The couple who lived separately for most of their marriage decided to formally split in early August. There are reports that Ini's people have even returned the bride price Philip paid in 2008.

Ini has since removed her husband's name from her social media accounts and she also removed wife from her bio on instagram. Her bio used to read - actress and wife...but wife is no longer there. A source said they have been having problems for quite a while because of trust issues before they decided to finally end their marriage. They have no children together.

Texas man tests positive to Ebola virus in the US

 A Texas man who just returned from Liberia to the US has tested positive to the deadly Ebola virus.

Announcing the development today September 30th, America's Center for Disease Control said the unidentified man was asymptomatic when he arrived back from Liberia recently and only started showing suspicious symptoms yesterday, prompting his immediate check-in into a Dallas hospital where it was confirmed he had the dreaded viral disease after preliminary test was carried out on him.

He has now been placed on strict isolation while a trace of all contacts he's made since his return back to America has commenced.

While there was an admission of a Top Model on her struggle with Endometriosis, this admission was not made by Agbani Darego. Agbani has since taken to her Twitter and Facebook account to dismiss these false claims.

Endometriosis is the same thing Nike Oshinowo has that made it almost impossible for her to carry a pregnancy.

Photo: Two Nigerian girls rescued from sex slaves in Burkina Faso

Two teenage Nigerian girls, Rejoice Chioma Israel, 16, (centre) and Rosemary ‎Uchenna Emmanuel, 19 (right), who were trafficked to Burkina Faso to become sex workers in the country have been rescued, PM News reports.

The two girls left Nigeria on 11 July with a man who promised to take them to Malaysia via Burkina Faso for a better life. The trafficker explained to them that they will be given fresh passports and some vaccines in Burkina Faso before proceeding to Malaysia for well paid jobs.

But once in Ouagadugu, the capital of Burkina Faso, they were handed over to a Nigerian woman called Onome who introduced them to prostitution.

3 Boko Haram members sentenced to 25 years each

The Federal High Court in Lagos today Tuesday September 30th sentenced 3 Boko Haram members to 25 years imprisonment each, The Nation reports.

However, journalists were not allowed to cover the judgment. Only lawyers in the prosecution and defence teams were allowed in court.

A source, who witnessed the verdict, but craved anonymity because he was not authorised to speak on the matter, told reporters that the fourth defendant was acquitted.

Boko Haram kills scores, razes over 500 houses in Adamawa

Boko Haram men in the early hours of yesterday September 29th launched an attack in Kubi and Watu villages in Michika LGA of Adamawa state, killing scores and burning over 500 houses.

According to a resident of the village, the sect men came very early in the morning when people were still sleeping, setting their homes ablaze and causing them to burn to death in the resulting inferno.
