We can't say when Chibok girls will be released - Minister of Interior

Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro, in a meeting this weekend, ruled out any specific date for the release of abducted Chibok girls but noted that their release was priority on government agenda.

“The true picture in Nigeria as far as insurgency in the North-East is concerned is that the war on Nigeria by the terrorists is still on. And, of course, from the onset of this crisis, government had indicated tackling the insurgency on three fronts: point of engagement, point of consultation and point of containment. And so, consultations definitely will continue: And don’t forget that because of the prolonged nature of the insurgency, a lot of activities are going on, both at the level of government and the level of the insurgents.

Would you like to study Beyonce and Rihanna as a course in University?

Come April 2015, students at the University of Texas, Austin ‎will be‎ adding a new course that will focus on Rihanna and Beyonce. This new course,  Beyonce Feminism, Rihanna Womanism, will not be available until Spring 2015, but the University has already released some details about the curriculum.

According to the University, “They will not be simply listening to Beyoncé and Rihanna for fun or even comparing the roles of Beyoncé and Rihanna in popular culture, rather, students will be studying how the lyrics, music videos, and actions of these women express various aspects of black feminism such as violence, economic opportunity, sexuality, standards of beauty, and creative self-expression.”

Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau allegedly released a video on October 31st where he said a lot of things, including that all the abducted Chibok girls have converted to Islam, that they have all been married off, and that there was never a ceasefire agreement with the Nigerian Govt. Below is the full transcript of the video he released...

"Without wasting time, we hereby send a message to the tyrants of Nigeria and other infidels as well as their world tyrants as a whole in Hausa language.

"You people should understand that we only obey Allah, we tread the path of the Prophet. We hope to die on this path and get eternal rest in our graves, rise up in bliss before our Lord and enter Paradise (quotes from the Koran). Our goal is the Garden of Eternal Bliss. May Allah protect us.

South Africa goal keeper shot dead at girlfriend's house laid to rest

27 year old South Africa national team captain and goal keeper Senzo Meyiwa, who was shot dead at his girlfriend's home by unknown gunmen last Sunday October 25th, was laid to rest yesterday November 1st at the Heroes Acre Chesterfield cemetery - an honor that is usually reserved for outstanding figures from the struggle against apartheid.

About 30,000 South Africans gathered at the Moses Mabhida Stadium to bid the goalkeeper farewell. The funeral comes a day after it was announced that a suspect has been arrested and charged for his murder. He is survived by three children. May his soul rest in peace. Amen. Government finally declares curfew in Adamawa state

The Adamawa State government yesterday Nov. 1st declared curfew in every part of the state following the increase in insurgency activities in some parts of the state, especially in Mubi.

According to a statement released yesterday, the curfew is now from 5am to 9pm in every part of the state, and every resident has been advised to comply strictly with the directive.

Chris Brown and Karrueche expecting a baby?

There have been rumours since September that Karrueche and Chris Brown are expecting a child, and the rumour went into overdrive last night after Chris Brown's friend 'Wack$tar' posted the photo above on instagram with his hands on Karrueche's stomach and said he hoped it was a boy. Aminu Tambuwal drags FG to court over removal of his security aides

A day after his security aides were withdrawn by the Federal Government, the Speaker of the House of Reps, Aminu Tambuwal, has filed a suit against the FG before a Federal High court in Abuja.

Tambuwal filed the suit today Oct. 31st asking the court to declare that the withdrawal of his security aides while he's still the Speaker is unlawful and unconstitutional. He also asked the court to restrain FG from further infringing on his rights and privileges. There are reports they are trying to declare his seat vacant and organize a bye-election for the purpose of replacing him. Tambuwal asked the court to restrain FG, INEC, PDP and IGP from doing this. In the meantime, he wants the court to order FG to return his security detail pending the determination of the suit.

A bomb went off at the Gombe Line motor park in Gombe state around 9am this morning which has resulted in the death of at least 30 people. Eye witnesses say the bomb was planted by a man who came and dropped his bag in a Kano line bus and left. Matthew Knowles other baby mama, former lingerie model Taqoya Brancomb sat down with Inside Edition recently and opened up about her affair with Mathew Knowles where she readily admitted to sleeping with Matthew while he was married to Beyonce's mum, Tina Knowles.

"Yes, I slept with a married man and it was the wrong thing to do, but I have a beautiful daughter who came out of the situation.”

Taqoya said Mathew treated her like 'the love of his life' until she got pregnant...and also claims he lied to her about having a vasectomy and has made it very clear he wants nothing to do with her or their daughter, 4 year old model and actress, Koi Knowles (pictured right).

Bukina Faso President resigns after riot, military takes over

The President of Burkina Faso, Blaise Campaore has resigned from office following yesterday's massive protest by people who were opposed to the elongation of his 27 years tenure. In a statement released today, Campaore said his seat was vacant and urged his people to conduct an election in the next 90 days.

Mr Compaore had earlier said he would remain in power until a transitional government had completed its work in 2015, a position the opposition parties and the army refused, forcing him to resign from power. His whereabouts is currently unknown.
