An Indian TV presenter, actress and model, Gauhar Khan, (pictured clasping hand to cheek) was left distressed after a member of the audience at a singing TV competition she was presenting on Sunday November 30th got up and slapped her for wearing a revealing dress.

Her assaulter, 24 year old Akil Malik, took offence at Khan’s backless outfit as she presented the grand finale of singing competition, Raw Star at Film City in Goregaon, Mumbai. He first started by arguing with the model and as security made to escort him off the venue, he managed to go up on stage and slapped the woman in front of  live audience. Boko Haram attacks Konduga village in Borno state

Barely 24 hours after suspected members of Boko Haram detonated two bombs at the Maiduguri Monday market killing more than 10 people, the sect members launched another attack on Konduga village in Borno state. The attack started in the early hours of today Dec 2nd.

The sect members had tried to invade this particular village in September but the Nigerian military had stopped them, killing 150 of their members. Konduga is about 35km away from Maiduguri, the state capital.

Again! Gunmen in Kenya separate Christians from Muslims and then kill them

Gunmen in Kenya this morning Dec 2nd attacked a quarry at Mandera town in North Kenya, killing 36 Christians. According to multiple eye witnesses, the gunmen stormed the place, ordered all the non-Muslims, about 36 of them, to step away from the Muslims and then shot them all dead. One witness told Reuters that four of the victims had been beheaded.

According to local media reports, the unknown gunmen suspected to be members of the Somalia based al-Shabab group that killed 28 people in an attack on a bus targeting non-Muslims in the same area last week, attacked the quarry workers very early this morning while they were sleeping.

Kenya's military troop and the Red cross have since arrived the scene of the attack.

Boy attacked by dogs discharged from hospital by father - Commissioner for Health

The little boy, Omonigho Abraham, who was viciously attacked by two dogs in Lagos has been forcefully discharged from hospital by his dad, this is according to the Lagos State government who released a statement this morning explaining their side of the story. Court grants PDP permission to declare Aminu Tambuwal's seat vacant

A Federal High court in Abuja today Dec. 1st gave PDP permission to apply for a mandatory order compelling either the Speaker or Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, to declare the Kebbe/Tambuwal seat being held by Hon Aminu Tambuwal vacant following his recent defection to APC from the PDP.

The PDP had dragged Tambuwal to court, asking the court to mandate him to declare his seat vacant and vacate his position as Speaker following his defect to the APC.

More than 10 dead in today's bomb blast in Maiduguri - Police

More than 10 persons were killed with several others severely injured after 2 female suicide bombers blew themselves up at the Maiduguri Monday Market in Borno state this morning.

The Borno state Police spokesperson, Gideon Jibrin, confirmed the number of casualties to AFP in a text message

"Two female suicide bombers detonated an explosive in Monday market in two different locations killing more than 10, and injured many".
