PDP suspends its past chairman, Bamanga Tukur

The National Working Committee of the PDP has suspended its immediate past Chairman, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur. According to a statement released this afternoon, Alhaji Tukur was suspended for taking the party to court without 'exhausting the internal redress avenues'.

A 24 year old mum named Li Zhenghua, was discovered by a shocked nurse trying to eat her baby days after he was born at a local hospital in China. The nurse saw her eating the infant's arm and as she made to rescue the infant, the crazed mum refused to let the baby go. The nurse immediately raised an alarm and called other hospital staff who helped to rescue the baby.

According to local media reports, the attack happened at a hospital in the city of Shenzhen in China’s Guangdong Province. The woman had been found on the streets heavily pregnant and in labour..

Boko Haram attack cement factory in Gombe, steal vehicles

Boko Haram militants today raided a cement facility owned by French group Lafarge, stealing some vehicles. According to one Samail Adnan a resident of Ashaka town who spoke with AFP, the sect members arrived their town shouting and shooting sporadically

"The gunmen kept shouting 'Allahu Akbar' and firing guns haphazardly. They went into the cement factory and took away some vehicles,"

The militants who arrived the town around 7am through Bajoga, raided banks, burnt down a police station and some government buildings. The military was able to repel their attacks in Bajoga, pushing them to Ashaka where they gained entrance into the cement factory and stole some vehicles.

Gangnam Style hit music video by South Korean singer, PSY, has exceeded YouTube's view limit, prompting YouTube to upgrade its counter.

The video which was released in 2012, was announced to be its most watched ever and has been viewed more than 2,147,483,647 times. YouTube has now changed the maximum view limit to 9,223,372,036,854,775,808, or more than nine quintillion.

On December 1, YouTube posted a statement saying: "We never thought a video would be watched in numbers greater than a 32-bit integer... but that was before we met Psy." ‎

Xzibit arrested a few hours after his wedding for allegedly drink driving

Rapper Xzibit married his long time girlfriend Krista Joiner on Saturday Nov. 29th in LA and a few hours after that, he was arrested for DUI.

According to TMZ, the Pimp My Ride presenter was arrested in Laguna Beach, immediately following his wedding reception after he, his bride and their wedding guests partied hard at the St. Regis Monarch Beach.

As he left his reception, he was pulled over for speeding when officers detected the smell of alcohol. He was cuffed and taken to the station. The police then released this mugshot of him.

Baby suffocates to death while in bed with his parents

A 6-week-old baby named Noah Pearson (pictured above), suffocated to death in his sleep after being deprived of oxygen while sleeping in between his parent in bed at their home in Bradford, in West Yorkshire.

According to the UK Telegraph, Noah's parents, Paul Pearson 24 and Emily Lambert 22, had left him with his grandmother while they went out with friends for drinks for the first time in a year. They returned at about 3.30am the following day drunk but still took their baby from the grandmother...
