The attention of the Police High Command has been drawn to a viral media story alleging Police incivility to a couple in Ikoyi, Lagos. The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Suleiman Abba has ordered a full scale investigation into the matter in line with his avowed commitment to protect and uphold the Human Rights of all Nigerians and residents therein.

Troops in pursuit of terrorists had an encounter with a group of them at Muva Junction yesterday. The fierce encounter resulted in substantial casualties including loss of lives & equipment on both sides. Justice Valentine Ashi, gave the order after former President Olusegun Obasanjo allegedly went ahead to publish his book titled “ My Watch’’ in spite of a court order made on Dec. 5, restraining him from making the publication.
