APC presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari today Dec. 14th paid a courtesy visit to former VP Atiku Abubakar at his home in Abuja. While receiving him, Atiku promised to work with him to bring the change Nigeria needs.

Reality stars Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have welcomed their third child together, a baby boy, this is according to E! News. The baby boy was born today Sunday December 14th, which also happens to be their eldest son Mason's 5th birthday. Big congrats to them...

How Police killed and buried my brother in shallow grave in Lekki - Sister

Some policemen attached to Maroko police station in Lagos are being accused of killing 24-year old Aondona Tavershima and burying him in a shallow grave at Lekki beach.

Five of the suspected policemen are now currently in police detention. The victim, a motorcycle operator, was alleged to have refused to stop when he was accosted by the policemen who were said to be on patrol at about 11am on the fateful day.

"On realizing that he was dead, the policemen picked his corpse and put it behind their patrol vehicle, a Toyota Hilux Van, and covered it with tyres. They drove to the beach and buried him. We were the ones who alerted the family that their brother had been killed and buried,” the eyewitness disclosed.

Major General Muhammadu Buhari has emerged as the APC flagbearer for the 2015 Presidential election and President Goodluck Jonathan has emerged for the PDP. The battle for the soul and future of our nation now begins.

It appears another episode of petroleum scarcity is about to hit Nigerians as members of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association [PENGASSAN] and their counterparts in the National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers [NUPENG], are set to begin a nationwide strike starting from tomorrow Monday December 15th.
According to Premium Times, the oil workers are heading for a strike action due to unresolved labor issues with the federal government, underfunding of the Petroleum Training Institute in Delta state as well as the yet to be passed Petroleum Industry Bill PIB.

In a new interview with Vanguard, star actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde said she's been tempted to cheat on her husband of over 17 years many times but never went through with it because of all she stood to lose.

A 40 year old identified as Matthew Zira, (pictured above) says he's searching for his wife and seven children after members of Boko haram invaded their village in Michika LGA of Adamawa state on September 7th. A distraught Matthew narrated his ordeal to The Nation. Read what he said below..

My name is Matthew Zira. I am from Vi village in Minchika Local Government Area, Adamawa State. I was living comfortably with my family until that fateful Friday. Before that day, there had been rumours that Boko Haram would attack the village, but no one knew when they would come. So on that day, as usual, I went out of the house to look for my daily bread. I ride commercial motorcycle in the village, I am also a farmer, and did the commercial motorcycle work when farm work was over.

A gas explosion rocked Arakele road in Akure, Ondo state this evening Dec. 13th, killing several people. According to eyewitnesses, the explosion happened at a gas station in the area and the fire from the explosion spread to residential houses within the area. Missing Nigerian baby boy found in Mexico, father arrested

The missing baby who went missing after his mother was found dead in a refrigerator at their home in Houston, Texas on Monday December 8th has been found in Mexico in good health.

11 months old Achilles Lambert was abducted by his Nigerian father, Patrick Lambert, who is a suspect in his estranged wife’s murder. Anastacia Lambert was stabbed to death. (read story here).

Houston police say the little boy was found abandoned yesterday Friday December 12th in Queretaro, central Mexico. Patrick was located somewhere else in Mexico and has since been taken into custody.
