Two secondary school students burn to death in Nassarawa

2 students of the Baptist High School Marke, in Kokona Local Government Area of Nassarawa state, Joseph Idris, SS1, and Rimande Luka, Jss 2, were burnt to death in a fire incident that occurred at about 2am yesterday September 23rd. One of the school's student hostel, the Red House hostel, which accommodates about 50 students, was engulfed in the fire incident, trapping many of them. It is believed that the fire started after an electric fault.

'I am deliriously happy' - Jennifer Aniston says after secret wedding

In a new interview, the 46 year old actress who got married for the second time about two weeks ago said she was deliriously happy to be married to her longtime boyfriend. Justin Theroux.

"I'm deliriously happy. Of course.' she said when asked to describe her state.

She also revealed how she managed to keep her wedding a secret from everyone, even her close Hollywood friends. She said she'd told everyone they were coming to a birthday party for Theroux - but it was in fact their wedding 'Where there's a will, there's a way.' Jen told GM America

World Football governing body, FIFA has appointed the president of the Nigerian Football Federation NFF, Amaju Pinnick as a member of the FIFA U-20 World Cup Organizing Committee. In a letter dated 14th August 2015 and signed by FIFA Secretary General, Jerome Valcke, the world body wrote

NNPC to publish financial transactions as from September

According to the newly appointed GMD of NNPC, Ibe Kachiukwu, the national oil corporation will from September periodically publish the financial transactions within the corporation. He said this at his maiden town hall meeting with employees of the corporation at the NNPC Towers in Abuja yesterday.

President Buhari moves to reclaim public assets still in the possession of Jonathan's aides

Buhari has set up a committee whose sole responsibility will be to recover all government properties like cars, houses, generators and others that are still in the possession of aides of former president Jonathan even after they have left office.

Revealing this to newsmen on Sunday August 16th, the Senior Special Assistant on media & publicity to the president, Garba Shehu, said the committee which will comprise of civil servants and security agents, will soon begin to go recover the properties and that the entire process wasn't designed to embarrass anyone but rather do what is right and fair to the Nigerian people.
