German magazine claims Michael Schumacher can walk again with help of his therapists

German magazine reported yesterday that stricken F1 racing legend Michael Schumacher is now able to take 'tentative' steps with the aid of a carer and has regained slight movement in one arm. The front page in glossy magazine Bunte – headlined 'He can move again' – was published days before the second anniversary of his devastating ski accident in the French Alps in 2013.

President Buhari orders immediate payment of December salaries

Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the immediate payment of December salaries to all Federal civil servants. His directive made known by the Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, who spoke at the end of the monthly Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) meeting in Abuja yesterday Dec. 22nd. She said salaries were already being paid in response to the Presidential directive.
“We are very conscious of the need that people are paid in time for the festive season,” she said. Adeosun added that some workers have already started receiving alerts for their December salary.

EFCC slams theft charge on Tompolo, Akpobolokemi, accuse them of converting NIMASA's $108.7m and N2.2bn properties

 
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has filed a 40-count criminal charge of unlawful conversion of $108.7 million and N2.2billion property of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, on the leader of Niger-Delta militant, Government Ekpemupolo also known as Tompolo and ex-NIMASA boss, Patrick Akpobolokemi.

Resident staff of First Consultant Medical Centre and Ebola Survivor, Dr. Ada Igonoh gave birth to a baby girl a few hours ago. The baby girl weighing 9 pounds 1 ounce was born at the Greater El-Monte Community Hospital, California.
Dr. Igonoh is the only female medical doctor to have survived the deadly disease. Since her conception, Dr. Ada has been placed under medical surveillance to ensure that her child is Ebola-Free. The baby, upon birth, has been certified Ebola-free.

National leader of APC, Bola Tinubu says the current trial of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki at the Code of Conduct is nothing new to him as he was tried at the same tribunal two weeks after leaving office as governor of Lagos state. Speaking to newsmen after his Eid prayers at the Dodan Barracks praying ground yesterday September 24th, Tinubu said
“After they discovered that my asset declaration had some questions, they charged me to the tribunal. I went and challenged them to show proofs. I was later discharged and acquitted because there was no evidence to prove their claim. It is only then I accused the government of being selective. We have to live by example and by our words.

Usher secretly marries Manager Grace Miguel, jet off to Cuba for honeymoon

R & B singer Usher Raymond and Grace Miguel secretly wed prior to going off to Cuba for their honeymoon over Labor Day weekend, which was a little over 2 weeks ago.

According to US weekly, one source said the duo planned on marrying before 100 guests in Atlanta but decided to elope instead.

Following their secret wedding, the newlyweds celebrated their honeymoon in Havana, Cuba.
