The Niger Delta Avengers has threatened to blow up the oil blocs of former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Minister of Defence, General Theophilus Danjuma, ex-Minister of Petroleum, Alhaji Riwalnu Lukman, other Northerners and South-Westerners in Niger-Delta region.

Counsel to Senate President, Bukola Saraki, Paul Erokoro, yesterday told the Code of Conduct Tribunal CCT, that he, Saraki, was very rich before he became governor of Kwara state in 2003. Nigerian Senate to launch Transparency and Delivery Commission

In line with the Legislative Agenda approved by the Senate, the President of the Senate today has announced the intention of the Senate to inaugurate an independent Transparency and Delivery Commission to review and improve the oversight systems and tools of the Senate.

The Commission will be led by a working group consisting of a world leading research institution and a partner institute in Nigeria and will be advised by an internationally acclaimed anti-corruption expert.
