EgyptAir tweeted that a flight carrying 69 passengers and crew on a flight from Paris to Cairo went missing on Thursday, disappearing from radar over the Mediterranean Sea.
"An official source at EgyptAir said that Flight MS804, which departed Paris at 23:09 (CEST), heading to Cairo has disappeared from radar," the airline said on its official Twitter account. The aircraft was carrying 56 passengers including a toddler and 2 babies and 10 crew members.

NLC vows to ground flight operations at Lagos Airport from today
As the strike action of NLC enters day 2, members of the Ayuba Wabba-led faction of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) have threatened to ground flight operations at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, from today, Thursday May 19th.

Okupe confirms Jonathan paid Metuh N400m, said amount came from former president’s N21bn campaign funds
The former Senor Special Assistant to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Dr Doyin Okupe, told Federal High Court, sitting in Abuja on Wednesday that Jonathan confirmed to him that he gave the sum of N400 million to Chief Olisa Metuh, the National Publicity Secretary of PDP.

SSANU joins Nigeria Labour Congress strike
The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, SSANU has joined in the nation-wide strike organized by the Ayuba Wabba-led faction of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC. According to the Union, they are an affiliate of the NLC and have to abide by the directives of the union. Their sister union, ASUU, has also joined in the strike action.

Activists and the Chairman of Chibok Community - Abuja, Tsambido Hosea Abana, have confirmed that one of the abducted Chibok girks named Amina Ali Nkek, was found by a vigilante group yesterday in Kulakaisa area, at the fringes of Sambisa Forest.
Amina who is from the town of Mbalala, south of Chibok, was identified by a civilian fighter belonging to the Civilian Joint Task Force (JTF), a vigilante group set up to help fight Boko Haram.
It was also reported that she was found with a baby.
