76 people confirmed dead in plane crash carrying Brazilian football team

76 people including Brazilian footballers have been confirmed dead in the passenger plane that crashed early this morning (Nigerian time). The plane was carrying 81 people including Brazilian international footballers, (Chapecoensea football club), their technical team, media personel and others and were on their way from Bolivia to Columbia for a football match when it crashed. Five people are said to have survived.

Federal Government plans to import fuel from Niger Republic

NNPC Group Managing Director, Maikanti Baru, over the weekend disclosed ongoing plans by the Federal Government to import fuel from Niger Republic to Nigeria. Baru who disclosed this during a town hall meeting with the management and staff of KRPC in Kaduna, said President Buhari has ordered the construction of about 1, 000 kilometer crude oil pipelines from Niger Republic to Kaduna Refinery.
