President Buhari sacks official who approved the new law that led to Pastor Adeboye resigning as RCCG GO

 

President Buhari has sacked the head of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria, FRCN, Jim Obazee pictured above, after the council enforced a law that led to the exit of Pastor E.A Adeboye as the General Overseer of RCCG in Nigeria on Saturday January 7th.

Pastor Adeboye during the church's Ministers thanksgiving, announced his retirement as the General Overseer of the church only in Nigeria following a new law that disallows leaders of a non-profit organization, churches inclusive, to remain in office for more than 20 years.

Asia's richest man, Jack Ma meets with Donald Trump on plans to create 1 million jobs in America

Asia's richest man, Jack Ma, the billionaire founder and executive chairman of the Alibaba Group met with Donald Trump on Monday to discuss plans for creating "one million" jobs in the U.S. through the company's e-commerce platform.

"Jack plans to share how Alibaba will create 1 million U.S. jobs by enabling 1 million small businesses to sell American goods to China and Asian consumers on the Alibaba platform," Brion Tingler, head of external affairs at Alibaba, said in a statement after the meeting.

The death certificate of legendary Hollywood actress, Debbie Reynolds who died in LA hospital on December 28, 2016 has been made public. According to the document obtained by TMZ,  her official cause of death was an intracerebral haemorrhage (fatal stroke).

Snake on a plane cancels Emirates Flight to Dubai

An Emirates flight from Oman to Dubai was cancelled after staff found a snake on the plane. Flight EK0863 from Muscat was grounded after baggage handlers found the serpent in the cargo hold. A spokesperson for the airline, quoted by Dubai-based media, said the snake was found before passengers boarded the plane.

The aircraft was searched before re-entering service and arriving at its destination several hours later.

The Nigerian Army is drawing the attention of the general public to the recent trend used by desperate remnants of Boko Haram terrorists. According to a press release signed by Colonel Mustapha Anka,  Deputy Director Army Public Relations 7 Division Nigerian Army, recently, two female suicide bombers knocked at the door of one Bulama and Usman about 200 meters apart in Kalari general area of Maiduguri.

17 people have been arrested so far by the French police for the Kim Kardashian Paris robbery and this is the photo of three of them. Three other suspects are women. Two of the suspects are diamond dealers.

Photos of the Captain and medical doctor killed by Boko Haram in Yobe State

Captain Victor Ugochukwu Ulasi, a medical doctor and graduate of the University of Nigeria Nsukka, was killed during Boko Haram attack on an Army base in Buni Yadi,  Yobe State on Sunday.

Four soldiers were also killed in the attack while scores of terrorists died. Captain Ulasi is survived by a wife and three children, pictured with him above. Sad. May his soul rest in peace, amen.
