Delta State lawmaker visits James Ibori in the UK to show his "unflinching loyalty and support''

Hon. Chief Evance Ochuko Ivwurie, Member representing Ethiope East State Constituency at Delta State House of Assembly, travelled to London with friends to reaffirm their "loyalty, support, obedience and commitment to the charismatic and visionary leadership" of former governor James Ibori, who was released from prison late last year after completing half of his 13 year jail term.
Ibori was jailed for money laundering and stealing over $200m from the Delta State government while he served as governor. In a post published on his Facebook page yesterday, January 16th,  the Chairman House Committee on Agriculture and National Resources, wrote:

A video shared on Facebook by Ada Mbaeri, the sister of slain US Army Veteran, Chuks Okebata, showing the deceased and his wife engaged in an altercation has gone viral.

US-based Chuks Okebata was abducted and assassinated in broad daylight in Lagos on the 12th of January 2017 while he was home for the Christmas and New Year holiday (Read here ).

The body of a 16 year old girl, Leonne Weeks from South Yorkshire was discovered few hours after she was declared missing.
According to her friends, the teenager had gone to see someone she meet online. When she didn't return, her parents launched a facebook appeal and few hours later, her body was found in an alleyway in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

Three female friends die in fatal accident along Akure-Ilesa Expressway (photos)

A group of lawyers heading to the Court of Appeal, Akure were involved in an accident along Akure-Ilesa Expressway on January 11th.
Mudasiru Balogun, who posted the photos survived while four people in one of the vehicles involved in the crash, a Peugeot 406, died.
Among them are three friends, Olayinka Adumasha, Bolanle Odibo and Aaron Beauty. May their souls rest in peace. Read his post below:

Man accused of killing 39 people in Turkey nightclub on New Year's Eve arrested

The man accused of killing 39 people in a nightclub in Turkey on New Year's Eve has been captured by Turkish police in Istanbul. Alleged ISIS militant Abdulkadir Masharipov was wanted in connection with the shooting spree which left nearly 70 injured.

Police arrested five people, including the alleged gunman, state-run Anadolu news agency says.
Masharipov is said to have been caught in the Istanbul district of Esenyurt.

Teenage boy rushed to hospital after circumcising himself with a Machete

A Zimbabwe teenager was recently rushed to a hospital after attempting to circumcise himself with a machete simply because his friends mocked his p*nis. The unidentified boy was rushed to St Luke’s Mission Hospital in the country’s Lupane District, where he spent two days recovering from the botched procedure.

According to 'My Zimbabwe', he had attempted the DIY circumcision using a machete after his friends told him he would not get a girlfriend because he still had his foreskin intact. Luckily for the boy, staff at the clinic carried out the circumcision operation that the boy had attempted on himself successfully.
