As earlier reported, some Nigerians are expected to arrive in the country today following their deportation from the UK, due to immigration related offences. The deportees arrived at the cargo terminal of Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Ikeja in an unmarked charter plane which touched ground at exactly 7:40 a.m.

$15m: Court throws out Patience Jonathan's lawsuit against anti-corruption SERAP, NGO
The Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has struck out the suit filed by Former first lady, Patience Jonathan, against anti-corruption organization, Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project SERAP, over allegations of "vilification and breach of human rights".
Mrs Jonathan filed the suit in October last year after the group petitioned the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, calling for the prosecution of Mrs Jonathan after $15 million was found in four controversial accounts which she laid claim to.

No fewer than 83 Nigerians are expected to arrive in the country today following their deportation from the United Kingdom. Among those to be deported were residents whose documents had expired and prisoners whose terms of imprisonment were nearing completion, Punch reports.
