Vietnamese woman Doan Thi Huong, 28, and Indonesian Siti Aisyah, 25, are pictured following their arrest over the murder of Kim Jong-nam .

The audacious killing was carried out as Jong-nam waited to use a check-in kiosk at Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur airport last week.

A 24-year-old woman, Jacinta Ewa Omiko, is alleged to have murdered her pregnant co-tenant, Ginika Gabriel, because the victim’s child defecated on the ground. The evil act happened in the compound where they reside at Akpoh, a village in Afikpo North Local Government Ebonyi State, following an altercation.

Omiko was alleged to have hit Gabriel on the head with a kitchen stool and she slumped. She died within minutes following the failure of efforts by neighbours to revive her.

Yesterday, a woman accidentally killed her 18-month-old baby after she mistakenly gave him kerosene to drink instead of water. The tragic incident occurred at Iguma Street off Orewere Street, Medical Stores Road in Egor local government.
Sources said Israel Buhari had cried to his kerosene-selling mother, Mrs. Ata Buhari that he wanted to drink water. His mother then gave him water stored in a beverage can, not realising it contained kerosene.

In another act of Xenophobia, some South Africans Saturday attacked and looted some Nigerian-owned businesses in Pretoria West. According to the President of the Nigeria Union in South African, Ikechukwu Anyene, the attacks started at about 4am Saturday morning. Five buildings that housed some Nigerian businesses were razed. He added that one of the buildings was a mechanic garage with 28 cars and many vital documents.

Woman identified as Chinagorom Adibe drowns after car plunges into Lagos Lagoon (photos)

A woman identified as one Chinagorom Adibe Fustine died after a car plunged into the Lagoon at Mekwen Bridge Bonny camp inward Marina on Saturday, February 18th at about 7.47 PM.

Preliminary investigation conducted by the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency's ERT at the scene of the incident revealed that a silver colour Kia Rio car with registration number Lagos MUS 38 BL with two occupants plunged into the Lagoon, with the driver, who identified himself as Felix Aniele swimming out to the river bank, while the other occupant a female, Chinagorom Adibe Fustine was trapped and drowned with the car in the Lagoon.
