Today marks the 24th death anniversary of Toke Makinwa's parents. The couple died in a tragic fire incident at their Abuja home. Toke was just 8 when her 35 year old father, Caleb Ifemayowa Makinwa, and 34 year old mother, Modupe Monica Makinwa, died after suffering serious injuries from a gas cylinder explosion in their home.
