Toke Makinwa remembers her parents 24 years after they were killed in a fire accident

Today marks the 24th death anniversary of Toke Makinwa's parents. The couple died in a tragic fire incident at their Abuja home. Toke was just 8 when her 35 year old father, Caleb Ifemayowa Makinwa, and 34 year old mother, Modupe Monica Makinwa, died after suffering serious injuries from a gas cylinder explosion in their home. Celebrating their memories today, Toke wrote;

On Thursday, we reported the death of the notorious kidnapper kingpin, Henry Chibueze aka Vampire who was gunned down yesterday during a gun battle with the Police Special Force led by the IGP Intelligence Response Team (IRT). The notorious kidnapper kingpin had initially escaped from police custody after unknown gunmen stormed the Owerri High Court in commando style and rescued him and two others on Friday, January 27, 2017.
