 Man United and Argentina defender, Marcos Rojo was pictured trying to hold back tears at the Manchester airport after hearing that his cousin was shot dead by an ex-policeman whom he tried to rob. According to reports in Argentina, Geronimo Rojo, 17, died in hospital early Tuesday morning after he was shot by a man, who was later revealed as an ex-policeman - he allegedly tried to rob at gunpoint.

A Muslim teenager believed to be about 17 years has received death threats after a video emerged of her twerking with a masked man in the middle of a busy Birmingham city centre while passers-by gathered around to watch. In the offending video, the girl can be seen dancing and thrusting her derrière back and forth against the man's crotch while clapping and singing along.
The photo was posted on Facebook and enraged users poured their anger on her in the comments section, with most calling her names and saying she deserves to be killed, while a few people defended her and asked that she should not be judged harshly.

Photos: Four escape death as car rams into building in Lagos state

Four people have escaped death after an over speeding vehicle lost control and smashed into a shop at College Road, Aruna B\Stop in Lagos. The vehicle which was coming from Yaya-Abatan lost control at the corner ramming into a shop beside APC Ifako Ijaye office, injuring a shoe maker and a passerby. Fortunately the woman in the shop did not sustain any injury with her baby.
The incident occurred around 11am on Wednesday, involving Honda Accord motor with registration number SMK-971EJ. The driver did not sustain any injury too. The shoe maker was badly injured while the passerby suffered one leg dislocation.

Ex governor of the now defunct Western State of Nigeria, Major General Adeyinka Adebayo dies at 89

Robert Adeyinka Adebayo was the former governor of the now defunct Western State of Nigeria, 1966–1971. And one of the founders/Vice Chairman of the National Party of Nigeria (NPN) (1979 -1983), Alliance for Democracy. His eldest son Otunba Niyi Adebayo was a governor of Ekiti State from 1999 to 2003.

Veteran actor Prince James Uche who has been battling with Diabetes, Blindness, BP and kidney disease, has died. He died this afternoon March 8th at a private medical hospital in Festac town where he had been for two years now. He had been unconcious for the past 5 days and was on his way for dialysis in an ambulance when he died at 2:15pm. He was scheduled to travel to India this Saturday for further treatment. He was 55 years old.
