American football stars took a knee in defiance of Donald Trump at Wembley Stadium today after he said sportsmen who 'disrespect America' should be 'fired'. Players from both Jacksonville Jaguars and the Baltimore Ravens dropped to their knees as the national anthem was played prior to the match in London.

Bauchi state governor, Mohammed A. Abubakar, is bereaved at the moment as he lost his 4-year-old grandchild, Karimullah, today September 24th. According to reports, the boy who was the 5th grandchild of the governor, died in the early hours of today after a brief illness. Karimullah was the son of Alh. Sadik (Abubakar) M.A. Abubakar the first male child of the Governor.

Nasarawa State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Mohammed Kura, who confirmed the incident said that trouble began six years ago when the suspect got married to Alhaji Isa. It was not long before she began to quarrel with the mother of the two girls.
