The former media officer of the Under-23 team, Timi Ebikagboro, has died. According to reports, he died yesterday morning in Warri, Delta state. The cause of his death is yet unknown. His colleagues and some sports enthusiasts have taken to social media to social media to pay him tribute and express their shock over his death. Meet mother of nine who trained five graduates with proceeds from her roasted yam business

Mrs. Franca Nwosu, a roasted yam seller based in Minna, Niger State, revealed that she put five of her children through university from the proceeds of her business. Speaking to Northern City News on Thursday in Minna, the mother of nine said that she started the business about 15 years ago.

"I started this business over 15 years ago and with the proceeds.I was able to train five graduates. So , as far as I am concerned, the business is booming, no matter the hardship in the country, people must eat, you cannot avoid food .”

Stampede at a train station kills 22 people in Mumbai, India

Officials confirm that a stampede broke out on a crowded pedestrian bridge connecting two railway stations in Mumbai during the morning rush today and at least 22 people were killed in the crush while another 27 were injured.

Lawmaker Shaina Nana Chudasama of the governing Bhartiya Janata Party said people had been crowding under the canopy covering the bridge to escape heavy rains, making the deadly tragedy worse.

"Any political party that does not treat the Yoruba people with the respect they deserve will lose the Presidency in 2019"- FFK
