Today at lekki phase one close to grace gardens event center. My car window got smashed, my camera, 2 lenses, wallet with drivers license and car battery got stolen. Its really disheartening why one will work so hard only for another person to take from you. I'm just tired.
Update: Over 20 people killed and hundreds injured in Las Vegas strip shooting...suspect killed
At least 20 people were killed in a shooting outside the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino after a gunman unloaded hundreds of rounds of ammo on a Las Vegas country music festival on Sunday night. Witnesses said shots were fired from an elevated hotel position. More than 100 people were wounded. There were 30,000 people in attendance at the event.
Nigerian transgender, Toryian, says his Nigerian mother has accepted him being a transgender
Toryian recently shared photos of his transition from a female to a male. According to him, his mother has accepted him being a transgender and has even given him some Nigerian male names. He shared the screengrab from a conversation he had with his mother a while ago and wrote;

A former governor of Kaduna State, Mouktar Muhammed, has died. Mouktar who was a retired air vice marshal, died yesterday Oct. 1 in a London hospital after a protracted battle with cancer. He was the first governor of Kaduna State after its creation in 1977 by the military administration of Olusegun Obasanjo.
He had earlier served as the Minister of Housing, Urban Development and Environment from 1976 to 1977, following the coup that brought Murtala Mohammed to power, in which he played a role. Until his death, Mouktar was deputy chairman of the Board of Trustees of Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF and was also chairman of Kano-based Freedom Radio.

A twitter user @Africafeed Sean Murphy, apparently carried out a research on Nigeria's health system and discovered that out of the 18 linear accelerators in Nigeria, 11 are not functioning. Linear accelerators are used in the treatment of cancer. The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has charged a former Chairman of the Governing Council of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, Dr. Saadu Ayinla Alanamu, to court for allegedly collecting bribe from a contractor.
Alanamu was recently nominated by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to the board of the ICPC, where he was expected to play an active role in the anti-corruption campaign. He was later dropped by Osinbajo following the allegation.

The Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) have reacted to former Abia state governor, Orji Uzor Kalu's recent interview where he claimed IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, fled to London via Malaysia over fear of his safety during the Operation Python Dance exercise recently carried out by the Nigerian Military in Abia state.
Kalu in the interview, had claimed he spoke to Nnamdi Kanu's family members who revealed to him that the outspoken IPOB leader was safe and sound in London, also saying he advised Kanu to quit his secessionist movement while he was in prison and the Igbos should rather work to bring out an Igbo president rather than create their own country.

Constitutional Lawyer and Human Rights Activist, Chief Mike Ozekhome says that the 57th Independence day speech given by President Buhari in a Nationwide broadcast yesterday October 1st, showed his fixated perceived hatred for the Igbos.
In a statement released yesterday, Ozekhome said he listened to the speech given by President Buhari and he found no emotions towards the Igbo race. According to him, President Buhari's speech was un-presidential and un-reconciliatory. He said President Buhari failed to condemn the activities of the herdsmen in his speech. His statement which he titled ‘President Muhammadu Buhari’s National Day Broadcast: Yet Another Golden Opportunity Lost’, reads;

IPOB member who died while protecting their leader, Nnamdi Kanu, laid to rest (photos)
A member of the now outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Henry Ogar Ogoyi, who died while protecting their leader, Nnamdi Kanu, was laid to rest yesterday October 1st. According to reports, Henry who hails from Iyala Ogoja, died during the clash between the military and some members of the secessionist group in Umuahia, Abia state on September 14th.
He is said to be the only surviving son of his parents. He left behind a pregnant wife and their one-year-old child. May his soul rest in peace, Amen. Another below..

Update: Abducted Assistant Commissinoer of Police in Zamfara state regains freedom
The Assistant Commissioner of Police in Zamfara state, Emmanuel Adeniyi who was kidnapped alongside three of his Family members while they were traveling in a Hilux bus along the Dandume/Birnin Gwari road (Katsina/Kaduna) road on Wednesday, September 27th, has regained his freedom. They regained their freedom on Saturday, September 30th. The police say no ransom was paid for the release. Family sources said the kidnappers had initially called demanding for N50 million ransom. Luckily, the police were able to rescue the victims without any payment of ransom.
