'Campaigning before the release of election time-table is illegal before the law' - INEC Chairman

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has warned politicians and political parties against going about soliciting electoral support before the official release of election time tables describing such action as illegal.

The commission also said it had commenced work on the budget for the 2019 general elections. INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, who spoke at a quarterly consultative meeting with the media at the commission’s secretariat, said:

In legal documents seen by The Blast, Norma described an incident on August 19 in which she claims Tyrese pinned their daughter to the ground and viciously beat her. Above is the moment the girlfriend of Las Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock, who killed 58 people and wounded 527 others over the weekend, was met by federal investigators after landing at LAX airport in LA on Tuesday.  

The 62 year old Australian citizen had been in the Philippines for 10 days before the shooting. Investigators said Paddock had transferred $100,000 to the woman in the Philippines shortly before carrying out the massacre. Friends who know the couple, said Paddock was known for berating his girlfriend at their local Starbucks and the abuse 'happened a lot'

A 23-year-old fashion designer, Adeshina Adeyemi, who was recently arrested while fleeing an armed robbery scene, says he accompanied his friend, Chibuzor, to rob because he pitied his poor condition.

According to reports, Adesina and Chibuzor robbed a building behind his own home at Adeniran Ajao Estate, Maryland in Lagos state over the weekend and while they were still stealing some items, the occupants of the house saw them and raised an alarm.
