Nigerians have taken to various social media platforms to express their displeasure and shock after Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha unveiled a statue of South African President, Jacob Zuma in Imo state.

The Governor also gave President Zuma, the Imo Merit Award, the highest award in the State which is usually given to honour persons that have distinguished themselves in various fields of human endeavours.

Video: Two mothers overdose while having a heroin party in their car with their babies inside

Two Florida women became unconscious following heroin overdose at a party. The mother, who became friends after meeting at a drug-treatment program were arrested after overdosing on heroin in an SUV with their 1-month-old and 2-month-old babies in the backseat.

A video shows the babies crying while their mothers were passed out in the car. An ambulance and rescue workers arrived at the scene and got the women and their babies out of the car and to a hospital.

Charly Boy has called out President Buhari to either tackle allegations of corruption against officials of his government, or quit office.

Lawyer accuses police of extorting over N50 million, other valuables from kidnapper, Evans

The lawyer representing billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike aka Evans, Olukoya Ogungbeje, has accused officers of the Inspector General of Police’s Intelligence Response Team of extorting money and valuables worth over N50 million from his client.

According to Premiumtimes, Ogungbeje in a petition filed with the Police Service Commission on Friday, October 13th, also accused the officers of sexually molesting Evans’ girlfriend, Amaka Offor.

Jimmie Smith, a retired security officer, bought the lottery ticket in May 2016 then left it in the pocket of an old shirt hanging in his closet.

A teenage girl was sexually assaulted three different times by three different men in one hour as she walked home from a night out in London last month, local police said Friday.

The 17-year-old student became separated from her friends following a jaunt to the Tower Hamlets nightclub and attempted to get to her central London home but she was attacked by a man. As she came out after suffering the first attack with her clothes disheveled, another man attacked her, and another, all within the space of one hour.

Oscars board expels Harvey Weinstein over sexual harassment scandal

In the latest and perhaps most symbolic blow to Hollywood mogul, Harvey Weinstein since a host of sexual harassment and assault allegations went public nine days ago, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences board voted on Saturday to strip Weinstein's membership.

In a statement, the academy said the action, which is effective immediately, was intended "not simply to separate ourselves from someone who does not merit the respect of his colleagues but also to send a message that the era of willful ignorance and shameful complicity in sexually predatory behavior and workplace harassment in our industry is over."
