President Muhammadu Buhari will depart for Istanbul, Turkey on Wednesday to participate in the ninth Summit of the Developing 8 (D-8) on Friday, October 20, 2017.
Prior to the D-8 Summit, President Buhari, at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey, will participate in an official working visit to Ankara, the capital city.

A 50-year-old man, Abdullahi Sani has been arrested by police for allegedly raping a three-year -old girl to death in Jabiri, Funtua local government area of Katsina State.

The body of 35 year old Tagbo Umeike, the friend of singer Davido, who died on October 2nd in Lagos, will be laid to rest at his family compound in his village in Anambra state this Friday, October 20th.
