Joe Biden teams up with singer Lady Gaga to set up trauma centers for sexual assault survivors

Former US Vice President, Joe Biden has revealed his new collaboration with Lady Gaga to provide support victims of sexual assault while speaking at Glamour‘s Women of the Year Summit on Monday, November 13 in New York.

Biden and Gaga who previously teamed up for the It's On Us campaign back in October, are now looking to open trauma centers for long-term relief.

Judge behind rapper Meek Mill’s 2-4 year prison sentence now being investigated by FBI

The Judge who sentenced Meek Mill to 2-4 years in state prison for violating probation from his 2009 drug and weapons case is reportedly being investigated for throwing the rapper back to jail.

According to TMZ, Judge Genece Brinkley is reportedly being investigated by the FBI for potential relationships within the Philly music circuit, including a locally known rapper she allegedly asked Meek to sign with, and possible "extortionist" demands.

Senate approves President Muhammadu Buhari's request for $5.5 billion foreign loan

The Senate has approved the request to seek a $5.5 billion foreign loan made by President Muhammadu Buhari. In a letter sent to the house last month, President Buhari said that $2.5 billion of the loan would be used to finance the 2017 budget while $3 billion is to be used for refinancing domestic debts.

After approving the loans, the Senate promised to properly oversight all the projects that the loans are meant to support in the outgoing 2017 budget.

65-year-old father of three arrested for raping a 15-year-old boy in Niger state

The police in Niger state has arrested a 65-year-old father of three, Patrick Kalu, who resides at Railway Quarters in Minna, for sexually molesting a 15-year-old boy whom he brought into his house a year ago with the promise of getting him a job.

The state police spokesperson, Abigail Unaeze, told journalists that the suspect who was arrested during the act, lured the unsuspecting victim from Karimo area of Abuja.

A man who broke into a woman's home and raped her has been jailed after he was caught using her bank card in McDonalds. Daniel Wallace, 33, of Weymouth Terrace, E2, was sentenced to 12 years at Blackfriars Crown Court on Monday, November 13.

He was found guilty at the same court on Friday, 6 October of rape following a re-trial. He was found guilty of burglary at the initial trial on Monday, 19 June.
