Hundreds of African nationals and activists flocked to the Libyan Embassy in Paris on Saturday, outraged at the government’s failure to tackle human smuggling, after a CCN report unveiled a network of migrant slave auctions in Libya.

About a thousand people turned up to the protest following calls by several prominent anti-slavery groups and a number of celebrities of African origin, including soccer star Didier Drogba and former Miss France Sonia Rolland.

A family friend, Habib Gaiam Aka Gidado revealed what transpired before, during and after Bilyami Mohammed Bello was killed by his wife. Bilyami, the son of former PDP chairman, Bello Haliru Mohammed, was stabbed to death by his wife, Maryam Sanda in the early hours of Sunday, November 19.

Gidado also revealed that late Bilyami was previously married to another woman, who he divorced to be with Maryam. Read his post below:

Russell Simmons is an American entrepreneur, music mogul and author who has been accused by Keri Claussen Khalighi, an aspiring model of sexually assaulting her when she was just 17.

She also says Simmons asked for forgiveness decades after he allegedly assaulted her and coerced her to perform oral sex while filmaker Ratner was present. Ratner was a rising music video producer at the time, according to the report.

A set of beautiful fraternal twins have made news headlines because if how different their skin tone is. The twins, who were born earlier this year, might have shared a womb but they couldn't look any more different. One is light skinned with blue eyes while the other is dark skinned with brown eyes. Asides the difference in their skin colour, another feature they have which has caught attention is their beauty. They are both so cute, it's  hard not to spend a few extra seconds staring at them.

One of Africa's longest serving leaders, Robert Mugabe has just addressed his nation. In a very long speech, the 93-year old leader slowly read from his script saying "we must resolve to forgive atrocities both real and perceived in a comradely Zimbabwean spirit".

While most Zimbabweans expected him to announce his resignation, Mugabe refused to say that, rather he said, he'll oversee the process of a national convention.

Son of former PDP Chairman allegedly stabbed to death by his wife over alleged infidelity

Bilyamin Muhammed Bello, the son of a former PDP chairman, Haliru Bello, died yesterday November 19th after he was stabbed by his wife, Maryam Sanda, at their Maitama, Abuja residence.

Maryam, said to be the daughter of former Aso Savings boss, Hajia Maimuna Aliyu, stabbed Bilyamin three times in the back; and severally on his private parts during an altercation over his alleged infidelity.

Willie Obiano wins Anambra state governorship election

The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has declared incumbent Anambra state governor, Willie Obiano, as the winner of the state governorship election that held yesterday November 18th. He pulled a total of 195, 256 votes to beat his close rival, APC's Tony Nwoye who pulled a total of 79, 885. PDP's Oseloka Obaze, pulled 60, 967 votes to come third.
